Theo and his mob of heretical catholic bashers are cowards, liars and hypocrites. They like to dish it out but can't take it. They represent the worst that Christianity offers. I have heard from two other people they have denied access to their hateful rants during this latest commentary and now I have been added to their deny access list. Thank you Theo and mob. When you cut off debate it is because you lost the discussion. You have paid me a supreme compliment.

I agree with you except that I am not a heretical catholic basher, coward, liar, or hypocrite. I only speak the truth.

I'll repeat in case you forgot. I am NOT a Protestant...I am merely a Bible-believing follower of Jesus Christ.

WOW. I may not agree with the Pope or things that happened in history, but Catholics are for the most part fine people. I have people on my personal ignore list, which means that I do not read much of what they post and rarely respond to them. I do not have anyone on the OPP ignore list because it does eliminate their right of expression.

You are mistaken Pennylynn, you haven't eliminated therir right of expression but you have exercised your right to listen to whatever voice you choose and to not listen to those you don't want to hear from. There is no benefit to you in allowing these cretins to repeat the same slanders and lies endlessly and it is a waste of your life to offer rebuttals. These are intelllectually dishonest people, no contrary argument will ever win with them.

I have made a firm decision to not respond to several people. Once upon a time I would write responses and provide several sources and each time they came back with I used Zionist propaganda, so I have stopped even trying to educate these people.
By using my personal ignore list does not prevent them from seeing my posts or responding to those posts, but they do not get feedback, either positive or negative from me. And so, this means that I could not agree more with your comment! Those folks live in echo chambers, the only things they wish to hear are their own opinions regurgitated back to them over and over.

Agree. I've never blocked anyone, even those whose language is vile. I do often read their comments and simply shake my head in disgust.

Yesterday I had a routine appointment with my primary care physician. I've been seeing her for about 15 years and we have a close relationship. She's about as fundamentalist a Christian as any I know. I know she's been having physical as well as other spiritual concerns. One thing this physician does is to pray for her patients right in her office. Of course Satan will attack her. To me, she is the mark of a true Christian and physician. Yesterday, I brought my sick call kit and before she treated me I anointed her with the sacrament of Holy Unction. She cried and I silently thanked God for His mercy, love and pity. Theo and his hateful mob are removed from this type of understanding and compassion.

I admire your physician for her forward thinking. About 3 years ago there was a study done on the "usefulness of prayer"
and the study concluded that people who prayed or had people pray for them recovered sooner and had better overall results.
When I was in a coma, my family (and I am Jewish) prayed for me in the hallways... some part of me knew they were there and praying. So, each time I felt myself "going away" I held on to those prayers and I returned each time getting closer to waking than the time before. My doctors said that my "vitals" indicated that I died several times, I guess that is when I felt that I was leaving or going... Remarkable about prayer and equally remarkable is our Father allowed me to return to a waking state... or this could be an illusion and I am really quite dead, but living through an insult I caused you or someone else and I need to atone.

Years ago the VA did a study where chaplains from one hospital prayed for patients at an entirely different hospital, patients they didn't know. In the control groups, those who were prayed for had a significant higher recovery rate. God is good.

30 years ago I met an old physician, 86 at the time. He told me that when he went to medical school they taught him that when he came to the end of his skills and his patient was not improving to pray for them. Medical schools today would scoff at this practice.
