Back on 9-11 Thousands of people were k**led and billions of dollars in property damage happened because a few towel heads used about $12. dollars worth of box cutters as weapons. Why weren't all uou libs screaming for Box Cutter control?

I don't really need a gun, but I have many guns because the second amendment says I can. I also like to target shoot and smell the burning powder. When in the military I qualified as marksman and expert. If it weren't for the second amendment we could very well be speaking Japanese west of the Mississippi and German to the east. I have lived in China where your gun free utopia is the norm. The police do not carry guns. There are no gun shops or anything else relating to shooting. One slip of the tongue or accidental jester in public about the government will land you in a labor camp never to be heard from again. Because of the second amendment we don't have that problem here, thank God for our right to own a gun.

When guns are outlawed only outlaws will have guns.

The main reason for the Second Amendment was the citizens would be able to defend ourselves from the government if it became necessary. The first thing Stalin, Hitler, Tojo, etc. did after coming to power was to outlaw the citizens right to keep and bear arms. Armed a person is a citizen - unarmed by law he is a subject. The above despots k**led about a billion of their own citizens simply because they didn't like their religion, looks or something else about them. In some countries it is law that each house hold must have a gun and ammo on hand.
Thank the founding fathers for the 2nd amendment. Our government is one of the longest lasting ever on earth.
