Mark chapter 8

Verse 1 - 9

This is the second miraculous feeding of a smaller multitude. Jesus had compassion on the multitude. He didn’t point fingers, mock, or find fault. He didn’t come to be served but to serve. We should follow Jesus. If your understanding leads you to make fun of those who aren’t as smart as you, your understanding is unfruitful. Your understanding should lead to compassion and love for everyone. There is no need to hate sinners, they ruin their own lives.

Verse 10 - 13

To believers no proof is necessary but to non-believers no proof is possible. The kingdom of heaven does not come with observation. It is within us. We can know God’s return is imminent because we are criminalizing normal relations and legalizing gay marriage. Instead of forming families that stay together for the sake of the children we have baby-mommas and baby-daddies. We pretend to care for children when we have killed 60 million of them.

Verse 14 - 21

Leaven is like yeast. Man doesn’t live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God. Besides eating food you need to make good decisions. Pleasing God is always a good decision. If you add leaven to flour you can change the shape of the dough. The bible has a simple message that has been complicated by religion. Leviticus 18:22 says men should not have sex with men. How is it that we now have gay clergy? How can you teach the word of God when you live contrary to the will of God?

Verse 22 - 26

This miracle is only here.

Verse 27 - 33

God appeals to intellect, satan to emotion. That is why we should think before we speak or act. Because once we say something, it can’t be unsaid. Once we do something, it can’t be undone. What do we think of Jesus and who do we think He is and where do we get our information? What people say is always wrong. If you don’t know God for yourself, you don’t know Him. Peter was the only man beside Jesus to walk on water. Numerous times he witnessed Christ feed a multitude with a meal meant for a small boy. When he thought about it, Jesus is the one scripture refer to. Then satan appeals to Peter’s emotions. Jesus informs His disciples of His upcoming persecution, execution, and death. He also tells them He will be back in three days. (He says for His disciples to take up their cross and follow Him). Peter loves Christ and doesn’t want to see Him treated that way. Although Peter is speaking Jesus says nothing to him. He knows who is motivating Peter to speak.

Verse 34 - 38

True disciples of Christ follow Him in persecution and tribulation. This feel good do nothing religion makes us useless. How can we be saved in a nation that murders children and legalizes same sex marriage? The laws of the government can be changed. The church has failed in teaching this nation to obey God. Worship without obedience is useless. The civil rights movement has been taken over by sissies. If you are afraid of standing for Christ among these weirdoes and perverts when Christ returns He will be ashamed of you.
