He had guns in the bag and each day he would bring more guns in his suite .He was there for 4 days and each day he would bring more guns.... Thats what i have heard today.

Just how long do you want to take to check into you hotel. How long do you want to wait to return to your room from breakfast, lunch, dinner or a movie? Do you realize that rifles can be built from almost all plastic. Hell, guns come apart and can be sneaked even on airplanes in pieces. Would you know the different parts of a gun? One innocent looking piece in a pocket, another innocent piece in a shirt pocket, a couple of other innocent pieces spread through out an overnight bag, SHAZAM, a pistol is born. Ever heard of a Zip Gun? They can be made from almost any things. Of course these wouldn't be effective in the Las Vegas case but just saying.
Metal detectors won't stop this kind of thing. Just how much freedom are you willing to give up because some asshole shoots up a concert. I've been surprised this hasn't happened before now at a concert, a mall or any other mass gathering.
PR, I don't know what the answer is but I do know I'm willing to take my chances and your chances as apposed to giving in to the left and becoming a s***e. Mike

Karp, I can carry 1000 rounds of 5.56 in a single ammo can, weighs 25 lbs. 750 rounds of .308 in same and weighs about the same. Ar rifles break down in easy to put together pieces. He was there for four days. Plenty of time to haul an arsenal up to that room. My big question is what did he build the shooting platforms out of. Maybe different furniture.
Best thing is to wait for accurate info to come out and say some prays for the wounded, the dead and their families. Mike
