You cannot purchase firearms online. Did you not see the site? Every single firearm: In stores only. You can purchase ammo online, although I am not sure if WalMart has such a policy. You make it sound like you are ordering a pizza. In reality, you must go to the store, present your ID, fill out the paperwork, and wait for the result of your background check. It isn't like Fed Ex will deliver to your home. Why don't you get out your charge card and TRY to purchase a firearm online. Unless you possess an FFL, you will get nowhere.

I was thinking you order it on line, then go to the store, present your ID, fill out the paperwork, and wait for the result of your background check. I believe you, but I will try your buyers challenge just for my education. I'll try an order to be delivered and picked up at a Walmart store in Colorado or Florida and get back to you with my results.

A mother of two was upstairs at home with her children in Iona County, Mich. when she heard a suspicious noise coming from the first floor. The woman retrieved a gun, went to the top of the stairs, and spotted a masked criminal armed with a machete and a shotgun through a window next to the homes front door. The armed homeowner raised the firearm at the criminal, prompting the would-be intruder to retreat from the door.
Eventually police arrived on the scene and captured the suspect, following a brief chase. In an interview with a local media outlet following the incident, the armed mother stated, I honestly think the gun saved my life. (WOOD, Grand Rapids, Mich. January 31, 2014)

That is what I said. You made it sound like UPS or someone would just deliver it to your home. That hasn't happened since 1968.

Ok, I think I may have hacked a way to order a weapon on line to be picked up from Walmart, but I'm stuck and need a little help. I need to know a Walmart Store location that sells weapons for sure. I think a lot of local and state laws will prohibit Walmart from selling fire arms at some stores and I'm finding it hard to find a Walmart that does.
P.S. Pizza sounds good about now. :-)

Cool, Still a Granby Street today in Norfolk, but I checked google maps and couldn't find a Granby in Virginia Beach Now. I was there in 1978, :)

You are right. No Granby Street in Virginia Beach but a great town!

Banjojack,
You are of course right that it is definitely easier to order takeout food online than a weapon. However, it seems the store needs the FFL, not me as a costumer.
Walmart shows on line assault weapons that can be purchased. The issue for me is I cant find a federally licensed FFL Walmart Store. On line I was stuck on the Walmart Website where I would have to enter a store where I could order a weapon to be shipped to a store for me to purchase. I tried various stores and I got a message that it wasn't available. I found on some posts on websites confirming that no one could find a Walmart store that carried the Assault Weapons
I goggled and found proguns.com that marketed assault weapons on line. Its policy clearly says All orders are completed by a local, federally licensed FFL dealer. Dealer information will be available shortly. You will need to locate a local dealer to do the t***sfer for you. Note: All orders must be shipped to a licensed FFL dealer. NO EXCEPTION WILL BE MADE!
So unless I find a FFL Walmart Store, I am unable to complete my order on line for an assault weapon at a store. Walmart seems to offer assault weapons but it does not deliver.
Can one order weapons on line? According to proguns.com, maybe but it must send my orders to a licensed FFL dealer.
So if you know where to order online humble pie, I am ready to order. Thanks for your input and education about this.

Another yet another another
There was a bit of confusion at Ace Hardware this morning. When I was ready to pay for my purchases of gunpowder and bullets, the cashier said, "Strip down, facing me!"
Making a mental note to complain to my congressman about the gun registry people running amok, I did just as she had instructed. When the hysterical shrieking had finally subsided, I found out that she was referring to my credit card.
I have been asked to shop elsewhere in the future.
They need to make their instructions to us seniors a little clearer!

I have liability concerns should I harm someone with a weapon by accident so I dont carry in public. As long as I can continue to afford the expense of hired security, I guess thats what Ill do. My Son who is in the Army and I like to go to an indoor shooting range with and target practice, but that is about the only time I use a weapon.

There are an incredible number of lies being bandied about on the subject of gun laws, with the majority promulgated by the anti-gun crowd. Many of them have never even fired a weapon, much less owned one. They have no idea what they are talking about, except for what they were told by someone with an agenda to pursue that doesn't include adherence to the t***h.
I meant no insult, I just dislike the exaggerations.

I didn't take as an insult and I appreciate the challenge to get to the t***h. Walmart on line at first presents that assault weapons are available for sale, but not really.
