We often hear the media and other talking heads complain about inequity in American. The complaint is about the income gap between rich and poor people. Keep in mind that all these news anchors and annalist you see on TV are making millions of dollars per year. Corrupt college basketball coach, Rick Pitino was making $7.8 million per year. We need to start boycotting the networks and the sports teams until the salaries are brought way down. This goes for movie and TV stars also. No one needs to make more than 1 $Million a year. It is time to re-focus what goes on in America. It is also time for the middle income people to get a break with higher wages and less taxes.
It is time to give the Celebrity Class a haircut.

I have to agree. It is the basis of capitalism. You get for your services, what you can sell them for. That goes for the top of the scale (athletes and CEOs) and the bottom of the scale (cooking burgers and washing dishes). If you want more out of life, improve your marketing position with schooling and experience. If you are content with your life, enjoy it. If you feel some (Pro Athletes, movie stars) are over paid, quit going to their games and movies, Try supporting little league, high school sports, the local community center's amateur plays, free concerts in the park. They can be just as entertaining.

You seen to be joking but I havent patronized movies in fifty years and that includes video rentals. Sports never interested me, primarily because they were infested with jocks. I never could grasp the adulation heaped on those people designated as "Coach". Most of the ones I knew were class A a--holes. I haven't been in any way diminished by their absence from my life.

The amount of $ they have been receiving is and has been way out of whack.
You could add to that some of the $ paid to CEO's,
government employees, hedge fund managers and many others.

They are protected by "Affirmative Action". Those b****s applying in the Ivy League Schools have much lower grades, but they are still given preferences over the w****s and Asians. It is because of their black color and affirmative action. The purpose is to balance with others. But at the expense of the few with excellent credentials just because they are w****s or Asians.
