Just another take on the whole argument. If any of these NFL players had to spend some time in the Armed Services, I'll bet their tune would change. Perfect example is Alejandro Villanueva who was the only Steeler who came out of the locker room and on to the field in support of the f**g. It just so happens that he served three tours overseas in combat. I think the so-called America's game should be held responsible for not being true to that title. By ignoring and refusing to acknow2ledge the National Anthem shows selfishness of the highest level. These players are there because America loves the game, but how can we love a team that refuses to be part of a beautiful American tradition. If the players do not want to acknowledge the reason they are there, then maybe they should not be there. They are separating the country instead of supporting and uplifting it. They have chosen to be articulate about e******y, yet they are paid more than their fair share of America's money. They have chosen to separate us by picking a freedom and distorting it instead of using that freedom in the way it was meant to be used. There will never be e******y in this country as long as there are people that are paid more, look better, work harder, etc. E******y is all about uplifting and supporting a proposal to gain the e******y, not by separating and dividing the people of America. We have a wonderful country and if you do not want to be here and RESPECT our National Anthem, LEAVE!!!!!!!!!

We have the power to bring them down to humility.

We can start right now, right here by pledging to boycott the NFL.

We then organize anyone here on OPP who would participate in the boycott, to implement a social media movement against the NFL.

We don't need to go into the streets and behave like the heathen left.

We can motivate others by word of mouth.

And we should seek to win over anyone from the left who understands that these players who refuse to honor the anthem should be the first to go into the black neighborhoods and lead young black men and women to become productive and prosperous Americans.

I pledge to boycott the NFL, industry wide. And I will avoid doing business with any institution that is directly associated with the NFL.

When I first heard what their coach was up to, I was hoping to see one of the players tell him to go to Hell. This player is, in many ways, a hero. Way to go!

I predict that their ratings will continue to drop unless they change their tune. And even if they do, it's going to require a lot to regain their former fans.

I agree. I will no longer watch certain games or teams. If it was not for America, they would not be able to make the money they do. Disgusts me to no end!~
