When you start out a posting with obvious bias, you can't expect serious responses. "Black Athletes Exploited by NFL" I suppose that the white athletes aren't exploited. Now, why would that be? Are there physical differences between the black and white athletes? Just what are they? Are they paid less? Explain how the NFL exploits them.

They offered a product from the very beginning that athletes wanted so they could keep playing childhood games after they've grown up. And they were payed a small amount as compensation for any profits the owners might make for charging admission after renting facilities. Many lost a lot of money trying to make a team profitable along the way. All business is a gamble. Now they make more money and the players are now compensated with huge amounts of money. Seems to me these players are every bit as responsible for any and all escalation of the injuries of the game as well as the profits in the game. They even get to use the game to push their personal misguided causes like insulting all veterans who died for our f**g. None of which would be possible without football. Without football they would be driving garbage trucks or working as labors. And keep in mind that soccer causes more brain injuries according to statistics. And don't forget boxing and mixed martial arts. Hell, let's just quit doing anything beyond skipping rope and competitive marbles. Is shooting pool okay. Beyond pool halls with shootings that is.

Many would be losers standing on a street corner and shooting up drugs in a back alley. Many of their lives were saved by football.
