With a Republican House, Senate, and Presidency, perhaps I expected a bit too much.
Other than a decent Supreme Court pick, and some unilateral P**********l executive orders, let's take a look at the big picture.
Obamacare repeal and replace. Nope. House and Senate versions both supported by Trump (neither of which solved the health insurance problem, nor did anything to reduce medical costs) failed. The current Graham-Cassidy bill touted by Trump as an Obamacare replacement keeps in place much of the flawed legislation and still appears to be unable to be passed. Trump's support is a face saving gesture that does little to solve this problem.
Trump's campaign promises to extract our country from foreign wars was reversed, and we find ourselves recommitted to sending more troops to Afghanistan.

Obamacare repeal and replace. Nope. House and Senate versions both supported by Trump (neither of which solved the health insurance problem, nor did anything to reduce medical costs) failed. The current Graham-Cassidy bill touted by Trump as an Obamacare replacement keeps in place much of the flawed legislation and still appears to be unable to be passed. Trump's support is a face saving gesture that does little to solve this problem.
Trump's campaign promises to extract our country from foreign wars was reversed, and we find ourselves recommitted to sending more troops to Afghanistan.
