I hope more Americans will join the boycott.

I personally wouldn't waste 2 nanoseconds watching NFL football.

And now my wife and I have decided to boycott the movie theatres.

I haven't been to a movie theater in ages. I still watch movies, but I get them for free.

Stop watching, stop paying.
That may get their attention.
No $ to give them the money they demand.
The money they get now is way out of whack.

Did you know the big movie companys decided that they were being c***ted from some profits by churchs and nursing homes. Now these people have to pay up front around 3 or 4 hundred dollars a year to show movies in the facility to more then one person at a time or they are breaking this new law.

Wolf counselor: My Wife and I have been boycotting for years!....I think its working! Our actions today tend to prove that we as a society value style over substance and celebrity over principal. I don't even want to get into the victimization vs self-reliance issue!

bggamer: This is not surprising! Due to my performance and success; my pocketbook and lifestyle is constantly being penalized by this socialist society we now live in!!!!!

Wait a minute. Are you saying that if someone BUYS a movie, and shows it to a bunch of people they can be charged with a crime?

I work in a nursing home one of the thing the patients enjoy is watching the old movies that they remember. They were informed in 2016 that it was illegal to show these movies to GROUPS that by doing so was stealing from the movie companys. BUT if they pay I think its 300 dollars a year they could or individuals could watch them in their room BUT not in groups. The company felt it was BS and declined so now they do not show movies any more.

You are so right and I wonder if that respect word will ever mean anything in this country again.
