The Florida State Fair at Tampa has one day on which students are admitted free. That day was 2/7/14/
The "students" showed their appreciation by stampede.
Over a hundred of them stampeded through the fair grounds, knocking down, trampling, assaulting and robbing people, and destroying food and game concessions. Their vandalism included throwing candy apples at people including the cops. Eighteen of them were arrested, and over a hundred ejected from the fair WITH NO PUNISHMENT FOR THEIR FELONIES.
Several hours after being ejected a 14 year old was k**led trying to cross a busy interstate highway on foot. His parents blame the
police.
As far as I could determine, it was 2/18 before the news media finally admitted that the stampeders were negros. Before that, they were referred to as students, youths, or teens.

Every year after Martin Luther King day, this happens a lot. Maybe his agendas need to become quiet history, allowing the kids to become simply students, youths, and teens.
Just think, that kid hit by the car 'could have been Obama.'

Interesting closing. I strongly believe that the race issue will/could normalize if these people would allow it. I have little respect for those who preach, practice, or encourage hatred. Lord knows we have many other problems that such energy could be channeled. But, you and I know that it will not end. Sometimes I think it is in some people's DNA.

What is the solution? I have no clue.

If it were humor you were reaching for, everyone knows I was born without a sense of humor. As I told AuntiE, my family says that I need to acquire the ability to see humor so each night I have to sit and watch "funny" sitcoms and comedians. I find them for the most part, cruel and vaguer.

I am sure you intended this as humor. But, the SYG could have been employed if an individual, such as the police officer who was hit in the face with a candied apple, or if the one swinging the metal chair had connected that officer could have shot and probably been found not guilty. Even the old woman who was in a wheelchair that got overturned and robbed, had shot her attacker, then she could possibly use the SYG.

Apparently the entire thing overwhelmed the police on duty. And sadly, as it brings shame and disgrace upon the black people, the detained individuals were all black. And, again it is sad, but the injured people were white.

So what the linked article says is that this has happened before, the cops should have been prepared for it and the fair should not have let these vandals in.

It also says nothing is being done to find and prosecute any of the hoodlums and it will happen again.

Apparently the police thought they were prepared and had their force out to meet the challenge. This time, there were so many of them and one report was they were not there to cause mischief, he relayed that they were out to destroy and hurt people. Unlike years past, this has been ongoing the fair opens up and allows teens in for free, the kids would come in in droves and ride the rides and be make all kinds of noise and then depart with some detentions. This year, they said it was mob mentality.

Did you read the part where the police is being blamed for the kid running across the highway and getting hit by the SUV? I guess they will say it is a race issue and the driver singled out a black to be hit.

That's it...the last straw. I refuse to be a victim of reverse discrimination. The next time I have to go "downtown" I'm going to hire a makeup artist to make me look Black before I go. I think I'll wear a large afro wig, a pair of white gloves
and hold a non-working cellphone up to my ear.
