You know the saying "Statistics Don't Lie? Here is the results from the IRS targeting scandal. Obama knew these statistics and yet, continued to pretend this was a phony scandal the entire time. Weird, huh?

Why should a tea party or other right wing group get approved to be a corporation which doesn't t have to pay taxes and will allow an contributor to it to deduct their contribution on their tax returns? No reason. Three cheers for the IRS.5

There is a book entitled, "The IRS - A Law unto Itself." It was from The New York Times Press. It is very important if you want to get the context of this entire matter. It is still available on line.
Liberals waxed horrified when during the Watergate affair it was revealed that the Nixon Administration used the IRS against opponents. Problem was that the Kennedy Administration had used the IRS against Nixon in 1962. I got that from that right wing source, Newsweek.
And, as I recall from the book, the first president to use the IRS against opponents was the rabid right wing Administration of (drum roll please) Franklin D. Roosevelt. The Obama Administration was carrying on a Democratic tradition.
