Sounds plausible . A few months ago I watched a well known geologist explain
away the old reason for the Grand Canyon's formation while going with the very
rapid development theory . He did this while talking his way down the various
side wall rock formations . I found it very insightful at the time but alas , I've
forgotten most everything he pointed at as justification . Along with input from
other professional scientific disciplines as well in the same video .

All these exciting updates on history are the direct result of computer and communications
technologies . The compilation of data from various disciplines no longer takes decades .
Only hours . Minutes and seconds in some arenas . Dial in A.I. and if we do not k**l ourselves
off the next couple of hundred years ought to be very exciting . Both looking at the big picture
and the tiniest ones like DNA . DNA is no random act of nature . It's engineering at its greatest .
Validation of God ( or what ever man wants to call the supreme being) is right around the corner .
Science knows this and many of them are coming around . Heck the Catholic Church is as well .

Oops . Sorry for wondering of course .

When Mt. St. Helens errupted it melted all the snow which carved some impressive canyons. Imagine what a large lake could do if it got free.
