I am not a huge fan of Senator Rand Paul; however, in the brief video at the Internet Link below he puts the hay down where the goats can get it relative to the out of control spending of both political parties. He makes good practical sense when it comes to paying the bills for Hurricanes Harvey and Irma.

During my entire adult life, in no instance, do I remember v****g to send my money to a foreign government. Therefore, any government official, who would send any kind of aid, to any other country, should be v**ed out of office. Those, now in office, should be impeached.

Any money, to be sent out of this country, should be authorized by the taxpayer (v**ed upon). Period!

I can fantasize can't I?

You're in La La Land. Rand Paul is just TOO logical. They'll never listen to him.
You're exactly right on the taxpayer authorizing payments to another country. They'll never listen to you, either.
When it's the right thing to do in this country, it's thumbs down.
