The Mayor of Chicago in a statement condemning Trumps attack on the dreamers speaking rhetoricaly stated that Chicago was a no trump zone! I am unsure if any city has an obligation to host the president, it takes loads of cooperation with local law enforcement closing streets and highways and a laundry list of other considerations at great cost to residents. I would suppose trump could drive in in his motorcade and sit in traffic like the rest of us, walk into grant park and stand on a soapbox but the taxpayers in the city of Chicago have no obligation to provide him any more accommodation than they do anyone else. Besides Trump thrives on adoring crowds and doesn't have the stones to address a group of anyone but his supporters. This is why he already registered as a candidate for 2020, it allows him to hold rally's banning all opponents to his policy, something a president addressing the American people is unable to do. He is an abject coward unable to face any criticism.

That is fine. Chicago has less per thousand then thirty other cities. But the overall total is still larger then any other city and some 80% to 90% come from way less then 50% of the city where most murders occur. That makes those area more dangerous then most of those 30 cities.

And the Mayor is still an asshole and any of his attacks against the President are all politics in trying to win over Hispanics in Chicago, after alienating the b****s, so they will help re-elect him.
