Churches are tax exempt and most of them rob their members by collecting tithes.
Anyone who actually reads the bible knows that tithing is a Jewish law not meant for gentiles.
So churches should not be allowed to receive FEMA relief.
FEMA funding comes from taxpayers.
Therefore only taxpayers should receive it.
Churches don't pay taxes so they are on their own.......................period !

Nobody who does not pay taxes should get any FEMA help ? Only taxpayers should get help ? Everybody else can just suffer ? However, I foresee an awful lot of Democrat v**ers under your policy being left homeless.
I agree. If other tax exempt entities relieve aid churches certainly should

If you want to tithe to a church voluntarily, then by all means, knock yourself out.
But if you think you are obligated to give even a thin dime to a church, you are sadly mistaken.
Try actually reading the bible sometimes.
But before you do, pray for understanding.
Because you've made it quite obvious that you're an indoctrinated Christian.

No, they certainly should not receive aid.
They should be the first to PROVIDE aid.
I agree they should be the first. Many are.

I must agree on this point. Churches are meant to take care of their own and others in dire straits. Most churches do this as a matter of course. However, FEMA doesn't always act rationally. As a victim of Katrina I happen to know that for a fact. Like a lot of other government offices, it is run by embiciles in many cases.

You've No Idea What I've Read
It's All Voluntary
Even The Hebrew's Yearly Trip To The Temple For The 10%
All Voluntary
But The Topic Of Discussion Is Not The Bible
It's FEMA's Own In-House Policy Of Not Helping Harmed Churches
Under The Pretense Of Separation
Yet FEMA Gladly Using Church Facilities For Relief Efforts

Should FEMA See A Valid Federal Tax Return Before Helping Disaster Victims ??
Remember, Over 40% Of Americans Pay No Federal Income Tax
House approves bill forcing Fema to allow churches to apply for aid , ignoring the fact that they do not want government interference or pay taxes! Hypocrites all!

So, to hell with people who don't fund the government. That's what you call Christian? Personally, I'd rather help those in need than surrender my money to a thoroughly corrupt government, or suffer the loss when the government steals it from me.
