If there had never been an American revolution, s***ery (as in Canada) would have ended 30 years earlier, much to the dismay of the Virginia "planters". We would have a prime minister (who could easily be removed by just a v**e of "no confidence"), and we would have had multiple party representation in a parliament. As a bonus there would never have been a second amendment. We would also be much more closely connected to the EU and have things like genuine national health care (without insurance companies) and effective high speed inter-city rail t***sportation.

Personally, I think it was much more important to have unlimited un-taxed Earl Grey tea...with unpaid servants to pour it ...

The t***h comes out. You wish to be a serf in a feudal European kingdom, with government nobility to decide what you do, when you do it, and when and how much you get paid for the doing. You would sell American Sovereignty to the UN for a Euro Dollar. Then you could roll on your back and pee in the air every time one of your betters, (which is looking more and more like pretty much everybody ) decides to perambulate your way. You scorn the use of force, ignoring the fact that you have the freedom to spout your nonsense because someone else was man enough to stand up and use force to defend your right to do so. You actually believe that the Revolution was fought so Virginia s***e owners could keep their s***es? Have you ever even read the Declaration of Independence? Take off the blinders. Believe it or not, there is an entire world out there, and most of it could not care less what California thinks, much less what your distorted view of historical fact might be.
