Not only that, the padding allows those on the inside to be as frivolous and good natured as we choose without offending, letting our frivolity interfere or be deemed inappropriate by the main. What I've seen so far on "this side" is good-natured banter and nothing like vulgar speech, name calling, and overall disregard for your fellow man like on a lot of the main site.

Yeah, it really is, isn't it. I visit here often for that reason. Great therapy it is, allowing us all to run "carefully" with scissors" -- poking all in good fun at one another. It's nice to see a "blend" of folks being able to enjoy one another's company -- because we truly are a "mix" -- gives me hope, it does.

I too asked him about that b-17 and never got a reply. Did a little hunting and found that it is indeed a photo-shopped picture but the RC community thinks they could make a flyable one.

Perhaps, but by the rest of us. We come to sanctuary so often that we have become accustomed to our surroundings. It would seem we should apologize for our lack of foresight and planning, knowing how appealing sanctuary can be, and also for not being the Ambassadors of Good Will that we are, by not supplying comfortable accommodations for all those who seek shelter here. I am sure you would agree with my conclusions here, yes?

I would certainly not apologize for not supplying comfortable accommodations for ALL that come here seeking shelter.

Well, I don't see why not. It is my feeling we need to make sure that it is acknowledged so there will be no question that we DO welcome all. We would be remiss if we didn't. You know Ritz Carlton or the Hilton would, and in my estimation, we are heads above them both!! :wink:
