Isaiah chapter 24

Verse 1 - 3

We are equal in the eyes of God. With God there are no big I’s and little you’s. God is unhappy with his entire creation. He does not prosper those who violate His word. If we don’t esteem the word of God, it is foolish to expect a blessing. God will judge us according to our works. If He rewarded or punished us now, He would be an accomplice.

Verse 4 - 6

Things are bad and we have no one but ourselves to blame. We perish from a lack of vision. We can choose our actions, but not our consequences. Same sex relationships are unnatural. There are no lesbian lions, gay tigers, or homosexual gorillas. Yet some will look at animal porn for ten years, in an attempt to justify perverted lifestyles. When you join the LBGT community, your chance of killing yourself increases by a factor of ten.

Verse 7 - 9

It could be so much better. We sing and dance in church, but life would be better if we obeyed God. We should go to church crying and apologizing to God for voting in a government that legalized drugs, abortion, and same sex marriage.

Verse 10

It takes a man, to raise a man, to be a man. A woman is more emotional than intellectual. A father’s revenge when his wife leaves him and takes the children is exacted when his son becomes a teenager. I was less afraid of my mother when I was looking down on her than when I was looking up to her. My mother said my dad beat her. I found out later she was lying. My first wife told my son I beat her. She hit me first. I can’t stop you from jumping on me, but I can give you good reason not to do that again. The breakdown of the family will be the death of America.

Verse 11 & 12

Our pursuit of happiness is destroying us. Looking for joy, we cause our own misery. There is no gain in finger pointing. Cities have more crime, prostitution, and drugs than small towns.

Verse 13 - 15

When things hit bottom, we do things too improve our lives. We don’t need to return to Christ, but to turn to Christ.

Verse 16 - 18

Those that do what God wants and avoid what He hates lead prosperous lives. But those that have been deceived persecute them. But those that persecute the righteous don’t understand the realities of life. They cannot be taught, but experienced. Read Amos 9:1 - 5.

Verse 19 & 20

Things are upside down and don’t make sense. When Jesus returns, He will exact vengeance and retribution upon the enemies of God and those who don’t know God, but He will bless His children. He is going to right the wrongs and separate the good from the bad.

Verse 21 - 23

Entertainers are just people, so are politicians, preachers, and teachers. When Jesus returns, this will become obvious. We don’t know the power of God or satan, and really don’t understand the bible. We are not going to heaven, heaven is coming here.
