And especially in today's world, unless America admits to wrongdoing, the world will not be able to see justice done, and future consequences and their resolution will be hard to handle. Maybe even impossible.
The upshot is, it will be better for American, and the world, in the long run, if justice were done.
I doubt justice will ever be done. Obama went on an apology tour but apologized for the wrong thing!
