The video tells it like it is with the government today !

SO I take it your all for throwing all caution to the wind with tax and spend then borrow then tax and spend then borrow !

Absolutely no accountability just ride the train till it crashes !

Of course not. We should have accountability for all our spending, be it extended benefits for the unemployed, corporate welfare or DoD appropriations.. Most of us (on the forum) agree the Govt spending has gone overboard, where we differ is which cuts to make for the best results for the nation...

Aww! Is lifey to rough for you? Did those mean old poor people take some of your tax dollars? Awww, poor you. Waaa! Waaa! Life is so unfair. I don't see how you even have a life. All of your money taken by the mean old 'government takers' and given to those lazy no account poor people and their children, and for food no less. What a travesty! What about those no account military people who sponge off the government after they've been wounded in foreign lands fighting for this country? All they do is come back home and sponge off all you "good givers". They are nothing but "Takers", sponging off the government. And all those retired military "sponges", nothing but "Takers". After all, there is no "in between", so they must be takers. And what about all those corporations sponging off the government, don't forget corporations are people too, my friend. What about all the money they take from hard working givers, such as yourself. They are nothing but "Takers", taking your hard earned money, because always remember "there is no in between".

Problem is no one wants to take their cut !

As a farmer I'm willing to do away with farm subsidies which was never good for farmers .

So would you be willing to have your food prices skyrocket if farm subsidies were stopped ?

I have mixed feeling on the farm subsidies, they were once intended for the family farmer, now seem to go to the factory farm. I still own some farm land and raise a bit of wheat up in the NW of Minnesota.. So I should admit that I have been paid via federal crop insurance and couple other programs. I do worry about my food prices inspite of gardening and raising meat animals for my own use... I once tried to figure the farm value of some products which were raising food prices at the time and the farmer got only a pittance... As a farmer I resented the limited market for my products, I could sell it all but had no control on the price I was given... Felt it was an unequal market. These days, more options existent and with futures Govt loan programs and expanding overseas markets with a lot of work we do have some flexibility in pricing...

Well, just keep piling up the debt and all your loveable losers will have nothing left to take. I find it amazing how you rationalize continuing to spend more money than we take in as a good thing. I bet you borrow from one credit card to pay the interest on the others. Keep doing that and see how long it last. At some point you will stop getting more credit cards you can borrow from, and then what? Bankruptcy.! But that is just fine with you because you can start the cycle all over again. TALK ABOUT LOSERS!

Typical Conservative response. Another talking head. No I don't borrow from one credit card to pay on another credit card. But hey continue to live in your own little fantasy world. And just like any other intellectually challenged individual you assume that "bankruptcy" is "just fine" with me. Just another i***tic unfounded statement.

Yes, I know it is a cartoon but Big D seemed to try and insult the conservatives with his remark I just expressed by dismay at how anyone can be critical of the message that was being sent/.

I don't espouse to borrow anything. Again, some Conservative telling me what I think and what I espouse. And in reality he/she has no idea what I think or espouse.

That is a great production of the argument against raising the debt limit. The debt limit argument is not limited to progressives or liberals but conservatives too.

Dutchman, the argument supporting a raise to the debt limit would be the analogy of a bill collector knocking on his door coming for a payment that is due and he refuses to pay it because he says he has committed to a balanced budget with the recession. The bill collector says he will make a lien against his house and the guy will have to move out. But the guy continues to insist he will not pay the bill and moves out of his house. He also loses his job because his car is repossessed too. His neighbor is in the same situation and pays the bill with a credit card but keeps his house, car and job. The next year, the recession is over, the neighbor got a raise and paid off the debt while the guy is renting a room in his basement.

I know analogies simplify things and I hope this one helps especially how even conservatives support raising the debt limit to pay the bills. Otherwise, the full faith and credit of the US is lost. Boehner, Cantor, Ryan and Rand have all committed to never threaten the debt limit again.

Exactly what are you talking about. "The world is flat" is that some kind of criticism? If you are defending the i***t (liberal) in the video, then it's no wonder this country is in the condition it is and going downhill.
Try to defend this if you are a liberal, if you are just stupid and can't follow the logic, then just keep it to yourself. We don't need any more stupid people on this forum.

Then what the fuck are YOU doing on here , you self-righteous, vain, I"M ALWAYS right, asshole?

I may be a "liberatard", but I'm pretty sure we all know who the i***t is, in this conversation, and it isn't the "liberatard". Btw what exactly is a "liberatard"?

Stan, this is just the way of the liberal (useful i***t), when ever anything is posted that goes way over their heads all they can do is attack the messenger. and like I said "This is way above any progressive / liberals ability to understand"
It is more obvious now than ever....

I thoroughly enjoy finding stuff to post in here that I know will get these lib/tards pantries in a wad and then sit back and listen to the useful i***ts squeal....
