I was talking about this health care mess only this morning. This lady and her husband who depend on the ACA due to both have preexisting conditions... She has several, including a brain tumor.. He had diabetes type one.

he works construction, she is a social worker. The could not get insurance until Minnesotacare was formed some years ago. Now it is the ACA.

She talked of several occasions when trump or his minions talked of removing, by EOs some of the ACA parts required to keep it working.. She is still vary worried about it..

We need to remind everyone about this possibility..

Sabotaging the ACA may well be there next step..

This is just too many 'LIES'! Obamacare was promised to allow you to keep the healthcare insurance plan that you had and liked, it was promised that you could keep the doctors that you liked and trusted, it was promised to reduce your heathcare costs by at least $2,400.00 a year for a family of 4, it was promised to be "FUNDED NEUTRAL", where the government wouldn't have to use the people's taxes to keep funding it. But Democrats don't care about lies, infact they celebrate them if the lies gives them what they want.

I never in my life knew that there were so many of the American people that completely lacked all honesty, integrity, and honor, but since Obama and the Democrats took over our government in 2009 for 8 straight years, I've learned that there is an entire political party that completely lacks those character traits, and don't mind lying to the American people to run a s**m on them, as Jonathon Gruber (one of the architects of Obamacare) has admitted in many of his college lectures.

I say make Obamacare like the liars who passed it said it would be, stop using taxpayers money to fund it, "LET THE BIG LIE DIE".

Two days ago there was a couple that jumped to their death in NYC, and the suicide note they left behind said they did this because healthcare for them was unaffordable, in other words they said that they either they couldn't afford to purchase Obamacare, or that Obamacare's copays and deductibles were so high, that they couldn't afford to use Obamacare. Isn't that a terrible shame, that people had to k**l themselves because the so called 'Affordable Care Act' was unaffordable for people that live in the great NYC, the financial center of the entire world. Has anyone else read of this yet, and seen the pictures of the two bodies laying in the street next to each other and covered with tarps?

But do you think all the lies are now panned out about Obamacare? No, the Democrats have plenty of new ones, like millions of people will lose their healthcare if Obamacare is repealed, and thousands will die. It seems that after a full year of Obamacare being law, 10 million Americans lost their healthcare that they had and liked, but do you know what happened to them? They simple bought new healthcare under Obamacare, part of the 23 million that the Democrats claim Obamacare gave access to healthcare, and won't admit that over half that number are actually not using Obamacare, but were put on the expanded Medicaid rolls. Like I said, even more lies.

So if anyone loses their heathcare, if the Republicans have the guts to fulfill their promise and repeal it, because they never did promise to replace it, that was the Democrats who told them, "what are you going to replace it with to keep millions of people from losing their healthcare, if you repeal Obamacare" and the i***ts then thought that was part of their promise, which it wasn't originally. So I hope President Trump has the balls to not fund it, as Obama and the Democrats promised it would be, and anyone who loses their healthcare can do the same as those who lost it because of Obamacare, simply purchase a new policy on the open market, which will be half the cost of what they were paying under Obamacare, and the copays and deductibles will be so low that everyone will be able to afford to use their healthcare coverage, and they can purchase just the coverage that they need and want, not all those ridiculous coverages that Obamacare makes you purchase that you don't need, want, or will ever be able to use, which drives up your healthcare costs.

Those who can't purchase healthcare on the open market, the government can simply put them on Medicaid, just like the more than half of the 23 million people that the Democrats claim are on Obamacare, are actually on Medicaid, and that too will cut the governments cost in half, compared to what they'd be required to pay out to keep Obamacare alive. What's good for the goose, is good for the gander, and at least all these lies will be stopped, but I'm sure the Democrats will quickly come up with some new ones.

This is from a registered Independent American v**er who v**es in every e******n, and who was raised to be a "FREE MAN" in a "FREE COUNTRY", and gave 4 years of my life to the USMC during the Vietnam War to assure that status will always remain the same. So I'll be damned if I allow anyone to make me purchase something that I don't need nor want, especially my own government. When our government starts attempting to do that to the American people, it is no longer my government, and the 'Founding Fathers' set up a procedure, with rights attached, to remedy that problem, and you i***t Democrats better start waking up, because you're right on the threashold of that occuring, especially if you attempt a c**p on our duly elected American President. You should understand that right now you are paying rates the insurance companies insist on. You are not buying insurance from the government.

When did any big business do anything, other then gouge, those who have to buy the products they provide..

They are not looking to help you. they are the ones who have made the individual market such a mess, they imposed the life time limits and exclusions for those very sick and with preexisting conditions, that we had to deal with before the ACA

Right now we are being gouged, because Obama and the Democrats have forced everyone to have to buy healthcare insurance, not free to choose what kind, or even to buy or not, and the insurance companies have us right where they want us, being forced to buy their product at wh**ever the cost. When people are free to choose, and to purchase or not, those companies start lowering their cost to entice customers to buy, and you'd be surprise how they can take the same books, make one set look like they're making no money', and make the other set look like their costs to provide their product are next to nothing.

Obamacare allows them to make their books like that of the first example, a free market makes their books look like that of the second example, for they have to pay dividends, or they'll be replaced by their stockholders, and in a free market, to make money to pay dividends, they have to be able to entice as many people as possible to buy their products, and if the cost of that product is too high, and people aren't buying it, they will find someway to force their companies costs down, so they can afford to offer their product at a lower cost to entice more customers to buy from them, so they can pay good dividends to their stockholders, and not only keep their jobs, but get raises for doing a good job, or they'll have to go out of business.

Everyone being forced to buy their product negates all those advantages of a free market, and not only allows gouging, but promotes it, so everyone down through the medical industry can make a k*****g. That's why it behooves the American people to keep their government out of private businesses, for participation in private business by the government skews a free market, and definately not in the favor of the American people.

A free market has worked for the USA down through our history, and is what made America great, as President Trump knows, if we go back to that free market capitalism again, then we will make America great again. How can someone who thinks himself to be so smart, can be so stupid, oh, that's right, through indoctrination.

Forcing everyone to buy a product creates and promotes gouging, and I can't believe you haven't figure that out yet. What do you think the cause of the tremendous increase in healthcare costs were, just after Obamacare became law, because it was so huge that it couldn't have been a normal market increase or surge? Do you not think that Obama, Gruber, Emmanuel, and all the other architects of the 'Affordable Care Act" (Obamacare) knew, expected, and planned it, and why they have said or done nothing about that tremendous increase in costs? What reason did the insurance companies have to raise their costs by so much, they actually have more custmers than they can serve or care to handle, thanks to Obamacare.

Obamacare was designed to fail, so the same thing would go on, that is now going on in the Senate. You will be very happy soon, because before this year is out, you'll find the RINOs in Congress, working with the Democrats to pass a "Single Payer" healthcare law, then what happened to little Charlie Gard will be the norm in our healthcare system. I surely hope that the ones that insisted on the "Single Payer" healthcare system, will be the ones, and their loved ones, that the government chooses to not allow the healthcare they need, and will let them die instead, than those and their loved ones who were against this a*********n to usurp the American people's rights to choose their own healthcare, doctors, and treatments, without any interference from the government.

the ACA was not done in secret. two years were spent getting it done. It included 170 items from the republicans.. The v**e was open for all which is normal..

Every rep and every senator had a copy and all was above board..

Unlike the 2 weeks the 13 republicans used to set up the first draft. the closed door for all the hearing and the exclusion of the Dems from all input..

Maybe that is why the law was so bad, it never had a chance..

Insurance companies are heartless I r eamember when Cigna raised ther rates in Calif by 39% just because they could thay gave there CEO a 21 million bonus.
If you chose not to buy insurance you put the burden on the rest of us as we have to pay your bills.
I think you might be forgetting what it was like befor the aca ware thay sold worthless policies like the one the 44 thousand that lost there plans.
