The unbelievably stupid governments of America and the politicians that make them up, never cease to amaze me. They are right up there with California. But this is a problem in all 50 states. Just some more then others and more stupid then others.

Unfortunately they aren't. Most are doubling down. I know Illinois is about as bad as it gets. I think we have more minor levels of government than all of the other states combined. Each with their own budget.

Totally agree. The opioid epidemic is a real crisis, but Boston's solution only encourages more use, which in turn leads to more overdoses. Stupid, IMO, is a subtle description.
A relatively new medicine, that has a couple different names, but here, is known as Narcan. It reverses the effects of an opioid overdose, and it's very affective. So affective, that the younger generation is having competitions to see who can O.D. then be brought back the most times. Last I heard the record for a single day was 7... scary, right?
(Btw, I'm taking tips on the proper use of the words "effective" & "affective".
