I do not dislike Trump for ideaologicsl reasons since I do not subscribe to tribal politics of any side. If you like Trump then that is your opinion and I respect that. If you present what I consider to be "alternative facts" to justify your love I may call you on it.

Since you didn't say which crime he has pardoned himself of, and since you obviously are an expert, he must have given himself a blanket pardon in advance and in perpetuity, so now as you list his offences...he can go ahead and commit them.

Like most people I am aware of my own mistakes, the gauche outbursts of my youth and the spoken words I wish I could take back but then I have no p**********l aspirations. Trumps reported behavior prior to his getting a government job, while not exactly classy, could be eclipsed by a forgiving America if he was able to get serious and summon the necessary maturity that his job now requires. Unfortunately his previous occupation with its top down power and control structure has left him inadequate to step up to the P**********l plate and resistant to the changes that some smart and capable people around him are pressing him to do. The country is not in a good place right now.

I simply alluded to his boast that he can pardon. Like you I am wondering why he needs to contemplate pardon powers if, as he claims,
he has committed no offense.

I agree with some of what you say Eden. But on the other hand, he is obstructed every way he turns....not just by the left but by the rhinos also.
