More than likely so, Salty...but, the Sgt. Major frowns upon my past days in the hay-loft...unless, of course, those with her.

"You Marines are really needed "

Funny, BB, as that's what the Navy Waves said, after stating they weren't getting properly tended to by the resident Swabbies.

I was born and raised in Texas so it runs thru my veins but years ago I had the oportunity to go live in Maine for 20 yrs. Ten years ago we moved back to Texas and I have to say a lot of Texans break my heart at their treatment of animals. I've been behind a car where a man was throwing kittens out on the highway and I've heard in the news where a local man left his dog tied to the tree on a night that had a hard freeze and the dog froze to death. Proverbs 12:10 says a
Righteous man has regard for the life of his animals. I'm not calling out all Texans but it's bad here. Jump in the car and take a ride and see a horse in a field that's skin and bones or a dog tied to a tree in 100 degree weather with no water bowl in site. I could go on and on. Please fellow Texans when you see things like this call these people out and report them. Yes their are a lot of good people in Texas and not trying to discredit Texas but animals are suffering here and I see it here everyday so I can't brag on my fellow Texans. Please don't turn a blind eye to this problem. They can't cry out . You are their only help.

You grabbed my attention with your posting, Twoworlds. I agree with all you write here, and confirm there are plenty of Texans who do right by animals/pets. Each individual needs to do his/her part. Unfortunately...some don't.
