This kind of precedent is dangerous. What if you weren't allowed to criticize or even question Christianity or Christians? Progressives, if you interchange the word 'Islamo' for the word 'Christo', you will realize why this terminology used by government is so backwards.

The traditional circular reasoning found within Islam does not allow reform or deviation from the 7th century Qur'an written down by Muhammad's followers, without context, other than the Hadiths (Tradition) purportedly recorded by Muhammad's most devout friends and followers, but actually written several hundred years after Muhammad lived.

Christianity's founder does not advocate murdering those who choose Not to become Christians. Islam's does, and has done so throughout its merciless history since Islam's official beginning in the Arabian Peninsula in 622 A.D..

Any intelligent, informed individual who does not fear the pluralization of Islamists within their nation are naive, blind fools.

here, here! People are quick to point to crimes and atrocities committed in the name of Christianity, but these are NEVER committed if you truly follow the TENETS of Christianity. In counterpoint, Islam's TENETS REQUIRE it's followers to commit crimes and atrocities. This is the fundamental difference between Islam and most other surviving major religions. Another major difference is that Islam is actually a theocracy, not a religion. There is no concept of "render into Caesar that which is Caesars" in Islam. To me anyone trying to sell Islam as a religion is comparable to the drug companies selling Thalidomide to expectant mothers as a sedative.

There is another difference of note. They are still worshiping the same cold, dead, idolatrous black stone (hajar ul aswad) their ancestors did thousands of years ago, but their ancestors addressed it as the Mother (Earth) goddess, and kissed the silver clad open entrance to the stone as the "vulva" of the goddess...

Believed to be a meteorite, it is embedded in the wall of the Ka'aba, and during their required, at least once-in-a-lifetime Haj (pilgrimage) to Mecca, Muslims are required to kiss or at least touch it, believing it will absorb their sins.

Their claim is that it was originally white, but over the centuries all the absorbed sins has blackened it.

Having rejected the salvation God freely provides through Jesus Christ, they seek the favor of a cold, dead stone.

If unable to reach the stone because of the crush of the crowd, they are instructed to "wave" at the stone, believing this will suffice!!!

This is the ancient, superstitious ritual of the world's 2nd largest "religion."
