President "45" Trump (R), has quietly and nearly sleeplessly done more to help America than ANY previous POTUS; bar none. Just winning the 2016 POTUS e******n in an EARTHQUAKE LANDSLIDE, and (D)efeating secular liberal progressive Hillary Clinton (D), would have cemented President Trump's (R), #1 position in the eyes of patriotic constitutionalist legal Americans. But then add Justice Neil Gorsuch to the mix, for the next few generations, and the possibility of two (2), possibly three (3), more conservative leaning Justices being appointed and conservatively nominated to the Supreme Court, and the contest is over. To say NOTHING of Secretary of Defense, James "MAD-DOG" Mattis, "WE" have a (R)eal winner in President "45" Donald J. Trump (R). Then consider the unerring and committed daily negation of unsavory and totally (D)etrimental business rules, taxes and regulations that were purposely causing our American businesses to be (D)eported in the "fundamental t***sformation" of "Our Shining Light on the Hill," that was no longer any more "exceptional" than Saudi Arabia or Iran or Kenya. Then nearly ending the mass-flood {by about 76% even WITHOUT the "wall"}, of un-vetted, non-assimilating i*****l a***ns {"refugee/terrorists"}, who had-been cordially invited to scale our American borders, and also herded into America {at American taxpayer expense}, by planes and boats, by the {millions?}, and President Trump (R), has actually done more to help America than any of the former POTUS's, COMBINED!!! And "WE" didn't even mention the majority of past "deals," that had been losing America {and Israel}, our "honor, blood and treasure" {TRILLIOIN$}, that are now being honestly and fruitfully (R)e-negotiated; and MUCH, MUCH, MUCH, MUCH MORE!!! NO CONTEST!!!

I believe the thought of Trump putting a couple more Conservatives on the court is what has the left scared to death more than anything else. For years when v**ed down on a myriad of proposals by the populace the left has gone to the courts to overturn the will of the people.

Definitely was not a landslide. I think many people use that term because it was such an upset. Just a thought. Don't know about rules but Trump has eliminated many regulations. I am all for it. His EO's are pretty much like most President's EO's.

trump only is looking out for his own money when he talks of deals.. Nothing he does is for anyone else.. The NAFTA case is the same.. in fact, you can not find anything that he has done that is good for American in general. Only himself and his friends have anything to show for the 6 months.. the SC judge that McConnel stole was good for big biz, Oil, pharma, f****l f**ls but only makes more things such as citizens united more likely to happen again..

More pointedly, since Trump took office—and as Mexican farmers explore their “Plan B”—U.S. soybean exports to Mexico have dropped 15 percent, the first of any kind of drop in four years; corn has dropped 6 percent; and chicken dropped 11 percent, the biggest decline in 14 years. Rural states are worried. And in many cases, they’re the same states that helped Trump win. Meanwhile, what is Mexico doing? It’s looking elsewhere.

While Canada has taken a more relaxed view of Trump’s campaign against NAFTA, in Mexico it’s provoked self-examination. Mexico signed deals with Brazil to import a record amount of corn this year. It’s talking with Argentina for beef. It’s increased some dairy imports from the European Union by 122 percent, and it’s talking with New Zealand about dairy, too. Granted, one reason NAFTA works so well is because the U.S. and Mexico are neighbors, which cuts down on shipping time and costs, so Mexico would much rather buy from the U.S. But if that neighborly arrangement ends, Mexico is saying it has options.

Donald Trump, as a p**********l candidate, called NAFTA a horrible deal for the U.S. and vowed to withdraw from the pact—though he has walked back those comments, saying he’ll renegotiate the deal with Mexico and Canada. But NAFTA is a behemoth, and, while Trump might have the basis for an argument when it comes to manufacturing, which has seen a massive workforce decline since NAFTA went into effect in 1994 (though some studies have shown that it is mechanization not free trade that have hurt those jobs), agricultural trade is seen as a success on all sides of the border. Since it was signed, Canada and Mexico have become by far America’s largest export markets for products like corn, pork, beef, dairy, soybeans and poultry, and overall total exports have grown from $9 billion in 1993 to $41 billion by 2014. On the ground that means about one of every 10 planted acres in the U.S. feeds Mexicans or Canadians. So when Trump crisscrossed the U.S. damning NAFTA as a failure, he created a problem for U.S. agriculture that had previously never existed.

“They were annoyed,” Sleight said of his customers, who wanted to know just why the president thought NAFTA was such a bad deal. They also weren’t pleased, Sleight said, about Trump’s general comments on Mexicans, whom Trump described as “rapists” and “criminals.”

“They were insulted, really,” Sleight said. “For us, you don’t do that to your best customers.”
