I am also laughing at the liberal reporters going to russia and seeing just how crappy socialism is!! No toilets, no water, no infrastructure... AND that is where they want to take us!

How many times do we have to chew the fur ball of liberalism/socialism before we puke it up??

If we keep going down this road we will be the United Socialist States of America and we will be just like Russia at that point. No one will have any desire to work or do anything and the US will be dead. We will all go out n Monday and get a bottle of Vodka and stay drunk all week long.

I just read a CBO report, just released, in 2024, ten years after the passage of Pookiecare, there will be more than 30,000,000 Americans left without health insurance. We were told we had to pass Pookiecare because we had 30,000,000 Americans uninsured. If, after ten years, we are going to have exactly the same number of uninsured, why did we need the federal government to nationalize 15% of the US economy and cause untold pain and suffering to American citizens?

Now, leftards, please don't spew a lot of stupid opinions and insults. Try to stick to the actual question. This will be fun!

Obamacare was a hastily contrived and ill-advised piece of legislation that never should have been passed. Now that it is a reality, I think Congress needs to declare a two year moratorium on that bill and work to fix it, or rescind it if it is as bad as it looks right now. I don't know if this is possible, but a lot of time was wasted with useless v**es to end it that could have been better used to try and fix it.

Agreed.
I understand the "concept and draw" of free healthcare... but it wont work unless someone confiscates all the money and then benevolently doles it out,,,,
The problem???? Whomever is in power, is rarely benevolent.. like the IRS, Obama, and Nixon before him... neither party has anything good or bad on the other.

It was never ever about insurance or for uninsured people it was all about people control and money control. They merely wanted to control one sixth of the economy and all of the populace is all. If you control the healthcare you control the people. I believe that is one of the Marxist tenants is it not. Only the foolish useless i***ts are believing this crap and believing that Obama has good intentions. I thought all of that bulls**t went out the window a long time ago.

That was the May 2013 report. You know, before the "glitched" rollout of Pookiecare. I am referring to the January 2014 report. You know, the one based on current information.

The very nature of the concept, that government should conrol every aspect of the lives of the American people, is antithetical to freedom. Pookiecare cannot be fixed. It must be abolished. We can then look at some reforms which will make healthcare more affordable, and available.

You are so right about what should have been done with Obamacare, however I just never did see any debate or attempts to improve the bill on the floor of either house of Congress. I do really believe it could have been better if just a little debate had been done instead of Nasty Nancy saying we have to pass it to see what is in it. Yep, old Nasty and Dirty got it passed and will soon be suffering for doing so.

I hope that they suffer a real long long time.

C'mon roy, predictions about 2024 ain't news from 2024. Once again you and yours jump on a guess and make a looming catastrophe from it. Gotta give you lotsa credit though, for imagination. Ever think of writing a novel - maybe something like Harry Potter?

You love anything from the CBO which looks good for Obama and then go off half-cocked about this one. You really are something, lefty.

The only thing needed is for the govt to back out,,, except allow dr's to repay their loans,,, 3 for $1 on the loan amount... Ie,,, a dr has 250K in loans,,, he gives 750K in treatment to those on welfare and medicade,,, then his loan is forgiven.... in a way we are paying for it, but we get more drs, and more treatment and less bureaucracy.

More kids become Dr's cause there is a way to repay the loans,,, we get free treatment,,, Dr gets out from under his loan money.

That actually sounds like a good idea. And if this Republic were operating as the founders outlined it in the Constitution, I am sure one or more States would try something like that. If it worked for them, more would do it. Currently though, we have a monklithic centralized government to entrenched in bureaucracy to respind and rry new things. The bigger the federal government becomes the more int***sigent it becomes.

Because that was the first major step in the conversion of the U.S. to c*******m. Obama's owners have developed plans for "nationalizing" agriculture, t***sportation, oil, and life insurance. They have already made a start on the auto and banking industries. I look for the next confiscation to be either the airlines or railroads, followed by the trucking and merchant ships.

The U.S. was the greatest nation on earth. Now the Obama minions and his owners are working apace to fundamentally change it. They are having success. I believe the conversion to c*******m will be complete within 5 or 6 years and that it will take at least 50 more years to recover. I do believe recovery will occur, just as Russia, Cuba, and China have turned into de facto capitalist nations. Cuba is the last to complete the recovery, but is making progress. I also believe Viet Nam is mostly capitalistic now.

I probably won't live to see the conversion to c*******m completed and certainly won't see the recovery. I'm 83 now and glad I won't see full blown c*******m here.
