Columbia University settles false rape case.
In college I worked with a guy who raped three girls and had a hung jury in one and was acquitted of the other two. He moved to Arizona after his hung jury and I never heard from him again. My wife was also raped in college but never pressed charges because she didn't think it would do any good and she was probably right. I don't think it's the American educational system that is the problem (they mostly just was to cover their asses) but a culture in which a man who rapes a woman is just as easily made into a victim as is the girl that he rapes. I went to college almost 40 years ago and I don't think much has changed since...
