Question: It’s clearly unpatriotic to be a Democrat; but is it immoral?

Democrats h**e the military and are always working to undermine America’s defense so we have no protection from their international friends. When they are in power, Democrats always act in ways that favor America’s enemies and insult our friends. Hearing Democrats say they are embarrassed to be American is commonplace from newsrooms to the highest offices of our government.

Democrats have urged surrender in every conflict we have been in since Viet Nam. Immediately after a terror attack, Democrats jump to act as apologists for those who would see us dead. It is hard to find a Democrat under 60 who is patriotic, and it’s a good bet that those who ran off to Canada in the 1960s and 70s are today’s most reliable Democrats.

Clearly Democrats are not patriotic, but there is good evidence that they are immoral as well.

They are the Party that has gleefully declared itself enemies of God. They have booed God’s name. They cheered Barack Obama during his phony government shutdown when he threatened to arrest Catholic priests who tried to minister on federal property.

Bloodthirsty Democrats see even partial birth a******n as a secular sacrament and worship gay “marriage.” Their stranglehold on healthcare has endangered the lives of millions of Americans. Poverty levels under Democrats are always climbing because of their greed and avarice.

Their deficit spending immorally burdens future generations far into the future. They want to go easy on criminals while stripping us of our right to own guns for protection.

Government-run schools in Democrat-controlled cities are among the worst in the country. They constantly promote class warfare, pitting rich versus poor and vice versa.

They are underrepresented in our military and over-represented in our jails.

Surveys show they are the least charitable among us, preferring to spend the money they tax out of other people rather than their own.

By any standard, Democrats are clearly unpatriotic and immoral.

Yes to all of your points I was raised a dem and v**ed dem my first three times but 3 tours in Viet Nam wading the mud blood and gore changed my way of thinking

Unintended Consequences

What about Democrats who are or have served in the military?
What about Democrats who do not like a******n but who do not want to see cuts in services to the poor?
What about Democrats who attend church every week and read the Bible?
Have you ever met or had a real discussion with any of these people?
Logic and common sense says you cannot classify a whole group of people as unpatriotic and immoral.

That is a great question, please tell me as I have had a hard time finding the answer to this..why do you call yourself a democrat? I don't agree with what has become of the Republican party and refuse to call myself democrat or republican. I am an American constitutional concervative. I find it sad that Americans have an incessant need to define ourselves with labels.

Unintended Consequences

I am probably more independent than Democrat because I like to question things, but independent candidates can hardly make a dent in our e*******l system.
I spent 20 years on the south side of Chicago living and working in poor neighborhoods. Every time Republicans were in office, it seemed that services to poor people were cut. It's really hard to see real people who are affected by these cuts. My present governor has cut 50000 people off of Medicaid. This would be laudable if all of them were abusing the system. Here is where we should focus our attention: the fraud and abuse. My Republican friends(yes, it is possible to have friends of another persuasion) have shown me that many of these government programs would be better done on a local level.
I also have a friend who is a constitutional conservative. He was devastated at the last e******n. I chose to spend time trying to console him rather than listen to a victory speech. I would much rather see intelligent discussion of topics on this forum, rather than name calling and labeling.

I was a JFK Democrat, but change to Republican under Johnson. I have since turned against them as well and I really don't see much difference in them. I am not going to say I am anything right now, but I will v**e for anyone that will hold up our Constitution and abide by it. So far, I have been sadly disappointed buy both sides. It is getting to the point that I am sick and tired of v****g at all. None of them represent the country I grew up in and none of them seem to care. I have yet to see any of them that will stand by their lies when running for office. They all seem to tall everyone what they want to hear and none of them will back it up with anything. I am still waiting for just one of them to show some guts and DO something FOR this country instead of running it into the gutter. It won't be long now before our dollar folds and is worthless and this country goes in the outhouse. None of them are even trying to stop this spending spree and for that, everyone in this country will pay the price except them. They are all rich enough to not care what happens.........

Your open mind is very much appreciated I too attempt to listen to all view points as I believe you can learn something from all persuasions. I do think big government does not assist with poverty and I believe that we the people could assist our fellow man on the local level alot better, which might cut down on Fraud, Waste, and Abuse.
