This is the prayer from 2/18/15
When the Lord designs a landscape, He goes all out. The beauty here, yesterday, was extraordinary. The snowflakes drifted down like fairies dancing their way across the stage. The fir trees and evergreens were dressed in glimmering white wraps, and the deciduous trees wore a coat of shinny glass. Our world, here, pretty much shut down to appreciate a quiet, entertaining afternoon. But, behind the scenes the activity was humming, workers out to clear roads, and repair fallen wires to restore electricity. Even beauty can bring problems, pray for everyone.
Yes, pray for all who are suffering through the heavy snowfall in the East. Pray, particularly for those without electricity, those who have to work out in the cold, and pray the homeless were taken to shelters. What brings beauty to one area can bring disaster to another, we must look at the broad landscape, and pray accordingly. Keep in prayer America, we need the Lord to return, we need His help to stem this deluge of filth that is spreading across our land. This evil is like a lava flow, devouring all that lays in its path, and bringing in a stench of death.
Dear Lord, we go from beauty to tragedy to death. We lift our voices to You, Lord, hear our prayer, help us. Show us a way to fight this onslaught of evil, send us a leader to cut its head off. As the children of Israel followed Joshua to march around Jericho, let us take a mental march around our Nation. We will pray that our Lord God will weaken the walls of evil, and make them crumple into dust and fall away. Prayer is a strong force, believe, trust, and pray. We bring our prayer in the name of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Ghost. Amen.
This prayer is as relevant today as it was two years ago, the evil is rampant and rearing its ugly head. We did get our 'Joshua' leader, but with his rise, also rose a venomous snake that has to be devoured. Help us Lord, in Jesus name we pray. Amen

Thoughts on Today's Verse....
God loves his children even when they are rebellious. However, God showed Israel that their r*******n would drive his presence and blessing from them. But with their genuine repentance, their confession of sin, God joyously returns to their lives to bring revival, renewal, and restoration.
My Prayer...
Father and Almighty LORD, please forgive me for my sins. I confess them freely to you now... (be specific about sins you want to confess) Having you in my life, honoring your Kingdom with my behavior and honoring your love with my graciousness are very important to me. You have blessed us Lord, by bring about the possibility of restoration of our nation with a man of conviction as President, now bless us with revival and renewal. So many of our people are blinded, causing division, and dissension. We ask that You open their eyes and bring them into the fold. Amen

For Some reason I used the same date for two different prayers
This is the prayer for 2/18/15 Prayer Team
Dear Lord, we come as a body of believers asking You about the rampaging savages in the Middle East. No sooner did I start that sentence, and Your answer came - Satan. Believers take one look at these atrocities, and they are left feeling sick. What will stop them, Lord? Jesus, Jesus - He will ride in on the horse of the apocalypse, He will cut them down. What can we do to be of assistance, Lord? Be in prayer, watch and be still, I am the answer, I will finish their fight. I am the Way, put your trust and prayers in Me.
Put on the full armor of God, then and only then will you survive. Satan is wily, he can and will fool many. Remember, many are called, but few are accepted - why? They will be inadequately prepared, they do not know the Word, they do not fully trust. How do I instill the importance of the Word. He is the Word, the Word is in Him, know it. Know IT! That should ring in your head like a scream from the dead. This is not the time to cringe in fear, stand out as a warrior of the Way, of the Word. You can be sure of Him, be sure of yourself.
Ephesians 6:14-18 gives you the full armor and how to use it: "Stand firm with the belt of t***h buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place,15 and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. 16 In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. 17 Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. 18 And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people."
Lord, I pray that this message is being conveyed correctly. Never would I want to twist your Word or use it to mislead, so I ask that You bless each individual who reads it to correctly understand the meaning behind the words. Keep the hands of Satan off of the words so they are not misconstrued. Bless each with Your presence, open their mind to understanding. We walk by faith, not seeing where the next footfall will be, but we trust, we believe. Thank You, Lord. We pray with sincere hearts, in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost. Amen
