The unmaking of Christianity by a church choir singing “Make America Great Again”
Never mind the stunningly inane, vacuous lyrics that make no mention of God or American ideals, and music that is like a horror movie version of being stuck in an elevator spewing jingles for eternity, such tripe in church is enmity against God. A loud and clear violation of Scripture. Just as is 4th of July celebrations in church. This is the “house divided” Jesus warned against. There is no room for the American f**g on the altar, and patriotic songs sung from the pews is anathema to God. The Bible is very, very clear on this point. God commanded a separation of church and state. We are to be in the world but not of it. Love of neighbor alone, as written by Paul in Romans13, is our sole duty to the state.
