Why Does Trump Call Dems 'Obstructionists' When He Has Majorities in Congress?

It's not the Dems who are blocking legislation, it is the GOP not being able to agree with each other. Does he/you understand this?

It's because there are too many RINO's in Congress. Democrats don't have a monopoly on liberalism and insiders. Washington DC has become a swamp with too many insiders who are well established in their cozy little setup and they don't want it changed. I'll bet you thought that Congress was there to help the people of the US, didn't you? Well, we have a few who would like to see this changed and President Trump is one of them. Then we have people like McCain and the S Car senator who don't want anything changed. They were big on promises when they didn't think they would have control of all three branches. They kept saying, well, we don't have the Senate and the House and then, well, we need to have the Senate too. Now that the Repubs have all three, they don't know what to do to keep their little scummy game going. For the most part the Republicans are no different than the Dems.

In 2009 Democrats has far larger majorities in both houses of Congress than Republicans do now and yet they complained about Republican obstructionism. Not that I would ever charge hypocrisy. I am just sating. Some folks have conveniently short memories.

You didn't understand that Senate rules require a super majority?

Right, so why does Trump blame the Dems?

Of course you understand that they are routinely using reconciliation, for health care, which requires only 50 v**es? The Dems cannot 'obstruct' reconciliation.

I never heard that once when the Dems had 60 v**es, which was for a brief time. The Dems did not use reconciliation the way the GOP does, so when Scott Brown got it, the GOP would obstruct. But I'm talking about today. Are you saying "because the Dems did it, it is OK for Trump to do it"? Is that really your rationale????? That Trump should do what Democrats did?

OK, but the question is, why is he blaming the Dems when he should be blaming the "rinos"?

Why not? Every other administration says the same and the Dems are obstructing. I mean...they plan on running on that in 2018.

Yea pretty much. Why should my side always play by rules when your side never does? Donald J. Trump fights dirty like a Democrat. He learned from the Democrats he had to deal with in NY State. In a sense the Democrats created Trump. No one else on the Republican side could have overcome Hillary's advantages in resources.

I always reverse roles and imagine what would have happened. If Republicans had treated Obama the way Democrats are treating Trump, the press would have declared them r****t i**********nists. I wonder if a Conservative had pulled a Cathy Griffin stunt, if Obama's Brown Shirts would have r**ted. Wait they didn't treat Obama as crazy as Democrats are treating Trump now and they were still called r****ts. Never mind.

Because everyone of them except one is against everything. Their motto is "resist." Now that shouldn't have been that hard for you to figure out.

Because they ARE!! When Chucky Shumer said"well when Trump is right on something we'll v**e with him" the Democrats yelled HELL NO!!! NEVER!" and he instead of doing what is right obeyed his god. That is treason in my book, so yes the Democrats are obstructionist.
