All this treachery taking place on amnesty within the GOP raises a couple of huge questions - and several more.
One, how does granting amnesty enhance national security? It has nothing to do with it. As a matter of fact, the puppetmasters don't want the border secured, so any sort of promises of beefed up security at the border are nothing more than a tease. Once the business interests get a fresh infusion of cheap labor to drive wages even further into the sewer, there will be no interest in Washington for border security, other than the phony act that poses for it now.
Second question what is compelling Republican leadership in the House and Senate to try to draw rank and file legislators into a bloody ambush especially now that they have Democrats on the ropes in the mid terms? There's a rotten minnow on the end of that fishing hook. Let's make it as unattractive as it would taste, so they don't take the bait.
I lay waste to a lot of the talking points that no one in the media is challenging, here:

I think the Republican leadership knows it has no choice but to reach out to a major chunk of the e*****rate. They are well aware that making inroads into the female and Hispanic v**e is necessary if they are going to be taken seriously as a political party.
As for the comments on the "ladies of the night", I will say this: when you hire one you have a pretty good idea of what you're getting. Do you really know what you are getting when you hire ANY politician (of either party)???
No, neither do you when it comes to a teacher of elementary or high school, modern day elected Priests. etc.

It should be noted that on January 29, 2014, at 9:45 EST AuntiE     (get the EMTs and a defibrillator) agreed with Brian Devon.
Ya know, being on the opposing side or not, a lot of these posters are still human beings and nice to have fun with once in a while.

True, how boring would it be if everyone shared the same opinions. I have no problem with dissenting views - it is helpful though, if the person takes the effort to examine their views with regard to facts.

It would depend on whose facts, or interpretation thereof, is being used for examination.

One has to take it as curious that Republicans are considering anything about immigration...during this 2014 e******n cycle.
If they don't seem to give in some, the Hispanic v**e goes to the Democrats in '16.

the 'Hispanic' v**e is not going to go to Republicans, no matter what kind of pandering they do. As a matter of fact, the Republicans stand an excellent chance of attracting some incremental gain from Latinos whose work and wages are threatened by I*****l A***ns, if they (the GOP) slam the door shut on amnesty and slam it hard.

very true statement. for example, I wouldn't give jack something for any of the fictitious versions of reality that Hillary Clinton has established her 'Smartest Woman in the World' reputation on.
She gets 'statistics' from Progressive D.C. policy groups and Democrat think tanks and regurgitates them, while the stooges from the mass media just nod like bobble heads.

The thing which gets little notice is the ICE Agents DO NOT want this immigration bill. One would think, oxymoron there, the elected Congress people would have some interest in hearing ideas from the people paid to deal with such matters. Alas, there are not sufficient ICE Agents to swing an e******n, hence no need to hear them.
