And has been doing so for a long time. It was 117 in Tucson last year. So what? It's hot, but that's the price people pay for living there.

If you stopped.blowing.hot air things might cool. Do your part and hush.

Doesn't indicate g****l w*****g; just a very hot day. Death Valley is hotter today. Borrego Springs hit 122 on Monday.

Just a hint, Tuscon and Phoenix are in the desert. Desert=hot summers. If you think it is hot now, you should have been in AZ in 1994 where temps reached 128 on June 29.

Do what normal Americans do: call it summer. And don't worry when it gets cold there in January and February; it's not g****l c*****g, it's called "winter."

And you think paying the 3rd world dictators Billions of dollars would change the temperature in AZ.

I live in this part of the country. We've been going through this for 20 years plus. One of my closest friends thanks his lucky stars that when winter comes, he moved from Springfield, Mass. (ya know, where everybody is complaining about g****l c*****g and freezing their ass off.)

In early August of 1964 I was touring in Arizona and the temperatures were scorchers. I drove into Pheonix in my non-air conditioned Chevy and by the time I went through Mesa and Tempe I had to pull off into a rest stop to cool off the car. My car was so hot that it was giving painful burns to touch the sheet metal, someone at the rest stop had a thermometer and it registered 116. I was on my way to California on Route 66 and I stopped in Needles just over the Arizona-California border for gas. The big thermometer on the station wall read 104 degrees and it was 2 o'clock in the morning.
