Of course, Madonna would like it. That's reason enough to reject it. But your hypothetical about Sharia Law being imposed in Hollywood strikes a nerve, Radiance. Can you just imagine these Hollywood types, and their l*****t lackeys, trying to survive a Sharia-prevalent society?? Especially the women!! They would have to succumb to male dictates in a misogynistic society. All these high-paid female celebrities who live luxurious lifestyles, would suddenly become subservient, deferential, persecuted, cowering subjects in a male-dominated society. They read lyrics and scripts, but apparently are not in the least aware of Sharia Law and its consequences. And though not a Hollywood celebrity, Hillary can certainly be counted among rich, privileged women who use the g****r card whenever it is expedient. Why under Sharia Law, she might not be permitted to wear Pant Suits!!! (You think she knows that?!!)

The radical Muslims advocate "Honor K*****gs." They also live and die in the belief that the slaughter of infidels, as on 9/11/01, will reward them with entering a heaven where 72 virgins are awaiting them. (Of course, no one asked the 72 virgins what they felt about it!).

Well, Sharia Law is not a mere fabrication. It is not something which can be blamed on Republicans. The left cannot accuse the right of prejudice or bias against Muslims - although it has been, and will continue to be tried, time and time again. Sharia Law is a definitive set of written tenets and rules:

*Men are the managers of the affairs of women for that God has preferred in bounty one of them over another, and for that they have expended of their property. Righteous women are therefore obedient, guarding the secret for God’s guarding. And those you fear may be rebellious admonish; banish them to their couches, and beat them. If they then obey you, look not for any way against them; God is All-high, All-great.

*A woman may inherit only half as much as her male brother does. “In a [religiously] mixed marriage [the wife is non-Muslim], the wife legally loses the right to her husband’s inheritance if she does not convert to Islam.”

*Under Sharia, Marriage and Sexual Intercourse with Pre-Pubescent Girls is Permissible.

*Under Sharia, Wives do not Share the Same Divorce Rights as Their Husbands.

*Under Sharia, a husband can divorce his wife simply by stating, “you are divorced” three times in the presence of two adult mentally sound males, without even having to justify his decision, and he will retain custody of any children.

*Sharia frowns upon female rulers. This originates from a ḥadīth in Sahih al-Bukhari, the most trusted Muslim aḥadīth , where Muhammad, upon hearing the news that the people of Persia had made the daughter of Khosrau their Queen, states: “Never will succeed such a nation as makes a woman their ruler. The practicalities of life, however, has given rise to some exceptions.

*Under Sharia, a husband has absolute authority over his wife. A man can forbid his wife to go out from the home, even to go to the mosque, since in a ḥadīth Muḥammad tells a woman that her prayer has no value if it is done without her husband’s permission.

*Furthermore, under Sharia, polygyny is allowed, for Q 4:3 explicitly permits Muslim men to marry “what seems good to you of the women: two, or three, or four.” Because of this verse, till this day in many Muslim countries it is permissible for a man to marry more than one wife.

*Muḥammad went out to the Muṣalla [place of prayer] (to offer the prayer) of `Id-al-Adha or Al-Fitr prayer. Then he passed by the women and said, “O women! Give alms, as I have seen that the majority of the dwellers of Hell-fire were you (women).” They asked, “Why is it so, O Allah’s Messenger?” He replied, “You curse frequently and are ungrateful to your husbands. I have not seen anyone more deficient in intelligence and religion than you. A cautious sensible man could be led astray by some of you.”

*In Sharia warriors are permitted to capture the women of “infidels” and use them for their sexual gratification. Having female s***es, is permissible even when the (Muslim) male is married. Indeed, the Qur’ān contrasts female s***es with married women a few times, clearly demonstrating female s***es were not considered to be wives.

So to those women who would argue FOR Muslims and Sharia Law, be careful what you wish for!!!

I can see you are having some runaway fantasy fun with this but can you provide a list of Hollywood celebrities who have publicly embraced Sharia Law? I don't mean people who have just expressed sympathy for Muslims, I mean actually publicly endorsed Sharia Law for Americans or America as a matter of record. I think many of us would like to know who these mentally disturbed people are so we can boycott their movies and stuff.

My comment was made in general, that our constitution and Sharia Law can not share the same space at the same time. For us to convert to Sharia Law in this country we would have to tear up our Constitution. If you are willing to do that, then you need to find another country to live in.
