If WH tapes exist of the conversations between Trump and Comey, will there be suspicious gaps or changes? If the WH claims there are no tapes after Trump suggested they existed, how does he explain this misrepresentation? And if the WH does claim there are no tapes, can we believe them? And does that suggest the tapes are incriminating so they are hiding them?
Suggesting by Trump that tapes exist and then no tapes are revealed, is almost prima facie evidence he was lying and attempting to cover that up, as clever as "The dog ate my homework." Only if actual tapes with the pertinent conversations are turned over to the House Intel Committee supporting Trump's version will he not be seen as the liar he is. That is the only way.
In his first six months of office, Trump has misrepresented facts or spoken outright falsehoods over 600 times. Only four days out of his first 100 days went without some form of deceit. Whose testimony to trust? There is no question: Comey.
