"If by 'Liberal' they mean someone who looks ahead and not behind, someone who welcomes new ideas without rigid reactions, someone who cares about the welfare of the people -- their health, their housing, their schools, their jobs, their civil rights, and their civil liberties -- someone who believes we can break through the stalemate and suspicions that grip us in our policies abroad. If that is what they mean by 'liberal, then I'm proud to say I'm a 'Liberal." JFK

I am proud to be a liberal depending how the word is defined. If it means what Kennedy meant by the word, count me as a liberal. If it means something else, like the Limbaugh/Hannity definition , I am not a liberal. We need to be careful when we label things. Some posters comment mostly in labels instead of thinking. If you do label instead of thinking, you will now want to point fingers away from yourself and at those you label as evil: Obama, Clinton, Soros, Alinsky, and others you have heard gossip about. .

Leading is leading, some from the front, some from behind.

Oh conservatives use fallacies to describe everyone. With liberals the argument made by conservatives is a strawman--all the easier so they can knock you down.
