Verse 1 - 4
The soldiers charged with guarding the tomb became the first witnesses to the resurrection. When Christ resurrected He didn’t show Himself to the Sanhedrin. Today we can know that the resurrection is true because it has been over 2,000 years, yet we still talk about it.
Verse 5 - 15
This must have been a lot of money. If this had really happened, the soldiers would have been killed.
Verse 16 - 20
The great commission wasn’t given to the Sanhedrin. You can’t lead anyone to Christ unless you have followed Him
