Treating animals and treating people differently produces resentment. Everyone but politicians know this, but it's interesting to see. The longer the ine******y exists, the greater the resentment grows - and that resentment may not be toward the CAUSE of the treatment but toward the people or animals receiving the preferred treatment.
In retrospect, politicians probably DO understand what treating people differently causes - and they use it as a tool to turn one group of citizens against another group of citizens while the cause (politicians) can be the "good guy" while egging on the resentment and blaming the victims instead of accepting the blame that belongs to the politician.

I WAS on SH. Was there for a couple of years or so. Had some great friends there. I was Tasine there, too. Am Tasine every where I post comments or articles. I deactivated myself when the site refused to allow my posts of pics of aborted term babies - called them gory. I kept reposting them because if DOING a******ns was O.K with America, I couldn't see how seeing pics of same would seem gory to anyone. Actually, that was the goal - to make people uncomfortable with seeing what is in fact being done. People can accept the committing of gore, just not pictures of it.

Gosh, Wayne. It's so great to run into someone I've run into before! Don't know about you, but I enjoyed SH until the fiasco with the pics Admin wouldn't allow me to show. I deactivated myself in an anger snit. Found this site, and it's so different from several others I have used that it is a little difficult getting accustomed to, but each day I know more about it and enjoy it more and more. Hope you will be around for a while too! :-)
