Our lives have always been filled with pets, primarily dogs, but a cat or two, several pet snakes, a number of birds, and for short periods of time many toads, goats in the bathroom and a number of orphaned baby birds. All have helped fill our hearts with joy and peace, not just for themselves, but for the joy they bring to the boys who have been part of our lives.
