Here's the issue! A highly funded and well organized group of evangelicals are now taking groups of young people to Israel to show them the "suffering Palestinians." These young people are being told that the suffering of the Palestinians is Israel's fault. WRONG!

It's true the Palestinian's are suffering and have been suffering since 1948 because of Arab leadership. On May 15, 1948, Israel became a State. The next day, five Arab armies attacked the Jews in an effort to k**l the State of Israel in the birth canal. Arab leaders told the Arabs living in the war zone to leave the area and as soon as the Jews were defeated, they could return to their homes and live in a Jew-free environment. Miraculously, the Israelis won that war.

Now you have 600,000 Arabs living without homes at the instruction of Arab leaders. These 600,000 suffering Arabs became known as "Palestinian Refugees." They instantly became a propaganda weapon in the media war against Israel. The accusation was that "Israel was the blame." WRONG! Arab leaders caused this situation; not Israel.

Fast forward to the Bill Clinton Administration when President Clinton met at Camp David with Yassar Arafat, the self-proclaimed "sole representative of the Palestinian people" and Prime Minister Barak of Israel. At Camp David, Israel offered Yassar Arafat everything he had asked to achieve a peace agreement. Yassar Arafat instantly said, "NO!" Why? Because the Palestinians have a charter calling for the destruction of Israel and the death of all Jews.

It is true the Palestinians have suffered for 60 years; the source of their suffering has been the abuse of Arabs who have used them as a pawn for their own personal and political objectives.

The objective of these newly formed evangelicals called "millennialists" taking young people to Israel and showing them "the suffering Palestinians" is to neutralize their affection and support of Israel. They are quick to say, "We support Israel but look at the suffering Palestinians!" The question is, "How can you love and support Israel and blame Israel for 60 years of suffering by the Palestinians caused by Arab leadership?" When you don't know the history of the problem, it's easy to reach a false conclusion.

Be certain that the Word of God has given the land to the Jewish people forever. They have the right to defend themselves from all enemies that attack them. They have the right to secure borders just like any other democracy. "I will bless those who bless you and curse those who curse you" Genesis 12:3.

As a lifelong Z*****t, I have always felt a bit uncomfortable with the Evangelistic Christian support for Israel.I am happy that Israel has support from any group, but given some of their anti Jewish actions of the past, I think that it is understandable. The current joke circulating among my friends is, The left loves Jews but h**es Israel while the right h**es Jews but loves Israel. This is of course a great oversimplification but has a tiny bit of t***h. A few years ago, I went to Israel and was a little taken back with the lack of sensitivity of many of the American church tours . I wrote it off as unthinking boorish behavior that is all too common with any tourism. I would rather have support from Christians than hostility, and realize that my personal feelings may have little basis,

I've said it before, and I'll repeat it until my death. Israel is fulfillment of Prophecy. It is one of the final prophecy's until Christ's return. He will return when all prophecy is fulfilled and that is on the horizon with the building of the Temple. Look up! He will return and right all wrong.
Those who seek to destroy the Jewish Nation beware and be on notice...

You are tight, but we also have to remember that the promises are to Israel as a nation, but not to every individual Jew.

To fully understand what's happening in the Middle East, one needs to hear from a former PLO Terrorist who had dedicated his life, to k*****g non-Muslims, in the name of Allah.

Who then, once challenged by his wife, read the bible, in order to demonstrate to her, that the bible was as corrupt, as he was taught by Islam.

There is a reason that Islam h**es the bible and does not want anyone reading or understanding it.

Thank you so much for posting the t***h about the mis-titled Arabs who call themselves Palestinians.

Anyone who denies the Jewish people's permanent deed to Eretz Israel is either not familiar with the Bible, or history, or is deliberately ignoring or twisting God's message.

They could hardly meet the definition of being a Christian "evangelical,"
regardless of what they call themselves.

Quote:
An excerpt from: "Battleground: Fact and Fantasy In Palestine," by Samuel Katz

"There was never a “Palestinian Arab” nation. To the Arab people as a whole, no such entity as Palestine existed. To those of them who lived in its neighborhood, its lands were a suitable object for plunder and destruction.

Those few who lived within its bounds may have had an affinity for their village (and made war on the next village), for their clan (which fought for the right of local tax-gathering), or even for their town.

They were not conscious of any relationship to a land, and even the townsmen would have heard of its existence as a land, if they heard of it at all, only from such Jews as they might meet. (Palestine is mentioned only once in the Koran, as the “Holy Land”— holy, that is, to Jews and Christians.)

The feeling of so many nineteenth-century visitors that the country had been waiting for the return of its lawful inhabitants was made the more significant by the shallowness of the Arab imprint on the country.

In twelve hundred years of association, they built only a single town, Ramleh, established as the local subprovincial capital in the eighth century.

The researchers of nineteenth-century scholars, beginning with the archaeologist Edward Robinson in 1838, revealed that hundreds of place-names of villages and sites, seemingly Arab, were Arabic renderings or t***slations of ancient Hebrew names, biblical or Talmudic.

The Arabs have never even had a name of their own for this country which they claim. “Filastin” is merely the Arab t***sliteration of “Palestine,” the name the Romans gave the country when they determined to obliterate the “presence” of the Jewish people.

Sir George Adam Smith, author of the Historical Geography of the Holy Land, wrote in 1891:

“The principle of nationality requires their [the Turks’] dispossession. Nor is there any indigenous civilization in Palestine that could take the place of the Turkish except that of the Jews who … have given to Palestine everything it has ever had of value to the world.”

This blunt judgment was entirely normal; it aroused no objections and offended no one. It was a simple statement of a unique and irrefutable fact."

And then there is a large contingency of Christians, like Hagee, who want to hasten Armageddon by forcing the completion of prophecy using Israel as the bait. Madness.

Nor every professed Christian. But that said its good to have sights posting facts. I'm curious about these "evangelicals because they aren't being fed t***hs. And we were warned about "tickling of ears ". Wonder if they've ever opened a history book or studied maps of any duration? Its all so clear!

John Hagee is one of our nations most consistent defenders of Israel, but he's never tried to hasten Armageddon. God's timing will be perfect.

I don't agree with the "two covenant" salvation aspect of his theology on Christianity, but his view point on the ownership of the land of Israel is consistent with scripture.

God's covenant with Israel on Eretz Israel is eternal.

I agree with your remarks. I am a supporter of the State of Israel. However, the Palestinians do have grievances that need to be addressed.

You know the easiest way to solve the dilemma? Encouraging inter-ethnic dating and marriage. Its harder for Jews to h**e Arabs, if there are Arabs in their family. Its harder for Arabs to h**e Jews if there are Jews in their family. Sticking to your own kind is a formula for genetic and military tragedy.

BTW, I am a Jew, married to a lovely gentile. Do I know that Torah Judaism forbids such a relationship? Of course I do. Do I care? No.

I also know that I have a lot of company. Since the year 2000, 60% of Jews who got married, picked non-Jewish partners.
