I don't think anyone has contested the president's authority to fire James Comey. Not even James Comey.
And I haven't heard anyone say Trump should be charged with a crime, or that is was obstruction of justice..yet.
What people ARE saying is that the investigation of whether or not any Americans, including Trump's campaign staff, colluded with the know Russian attempt to interfere with our e******n. Considering the way Trump's actions and words have appeared, I'd think he would be the one asking the loudest for the investigation to happen.

Perhaps Trump should in fact hire Dershowitz. He was pretty instrumental in getting O.J. Simpson and Claus von Bulow off the hook, so he must be good!

Does Trumop have something to hide? Or does he not believe in the independence of an independent investigation?
Something smells fishy to me.

It is my perception everyone on the progressive side and some Republicans have questioned Trump's right to fire Mr. Comey.

I have yet to determine exactly how the Russians attempted to interfere with the e******n. There is zero proof they were the source of the Wikileaks's leaks. V****g machines are not connected to public computer access, hence could not be "hacked". One has to wonder how we can complain of someone attempting to "influence" our e******ns considering the numerous times we have attempted to do the same, i.e. Egypt, Israel and Brexit.

When one considers, even, Senator Feinstein has publicly stated she has seen no evidence, one has to wonder if it is a witch hunt by sore losers.

You know what Mr. Jones? We're just a couple of dumb rednecks here, but we keep hearing the word INFLUENCE. Isn't that what both parties, and everyone else does? I see this Russia FOOFARA as an invented excuse for a devastating loss by the die hard l*****ts. Am I wrong?

It is, perfectly, acceptable for progressives to use "INFLUENCE"; however, no one else is allowed to do such. When are you going to learn this lesson?

Even if impeachment of Trump were by popular consensus of the people of the U. S. it would still be unconstitutional. Trump would have to commit a felony for a call for his impeachment to be legally proper. Unlike e******ns, impeachment is not constitutionally left to the popular opinion of the people. It is a legal matter. There is a process that starts with a statesman in congress, or the senate, calling for impeachment. If ratified by the congress, and senate, then an investigation proceeds. At the end of the investigation, if the court decides there is enough evidence to proceed, a trial is conducted. Only if the president is found guilty of a crime can he be removed from office. But if he is not found guilty, after proper means, then he retains his office.

cesspool-agree!! The left sees themselves remaining as irrelevant as they are now and are fighting for their
very survival. The only places the left won were the dens of iniquities in some Blue States. It was an
unimaginable butt whipping of epic proportions and they blame everybody except themselves. lol They are in
an absolute panic and everything, except the real crimes committed by democrats, are viewed as conspiracies which need to be investigated. America First!!!

Yanno, not all Democrats are wild-eyed, raving liberal morons. Or maybe my moderate, centrist friends and acquaintences are the exception, not the rule. I for one have been surprisingly pleased by his actions in the Middle East. I am not happy about some of his actions recently that affect our environment, health and human rights. Those issues are better addressed in other forums.

In the meantime, I'm rooting for our President as he continues this historic tour!

I guess in my case, the INFLUENCE that I had on my children was wrong. They are hard working, successful people who know right from left.

Mr. Jones screwed up, and did the same. His beautiful daughter is a member of our armed forces, and loves her dad.

It's sad that America has devolved to this point.😩😩

Iamdjchrys-you are absolutely correct. The wild -eyed liberal morons are primarily part of the Lame Street
Media with some in congress and other parts of government. Without the help of some clear thinking democrats Trump would not have won. As for the environment, much of those regulations already existed in the States and were over-reach by the empirical EPA which viewed itself as King Tut. The health care bill is in process and hopefully
will be ready before the ACA implodes. I am favorably impressed with what he has been able to
accomplish in the face of the most vicious unfounded attacks levied against any president. The man has the gonads
and backbone to implement the agenda and the democrats in congress will rue the day they launched a direct attack
against the v**ers who elected this man. Unfortunately, representatives of the democrat party in congress are the most two-faced hypocritical sub species on the planet. They should all crawl back under rocks with the rest of
the worms. America First!!!

Well, I gotta say...Trump signing the CRA allowing coal mining waste to be dumped into clean waterways pissed me off, as did replacing EPA scientists with businessmen. I'm not real happy about his wanting to cut Superfund cleanup funding, either.

As far as healthcare goes, I know this is not a popular concept on either side of the aisle, but how about both parties work together to hammer out a plan that works? America First!
