"Former FBI Director James Comey testified under Senate oath May 3rd that the Trump administration had not pressured his agency to halt any investigation for political purposes.
Comey admitted that the FBI has always been free to operate without political interference—flying in the face of Democrats’ paranoid delusions about Russia and President Donald J. Trump, and exposing for what it is a new political witch hunt Wednesday by enemies within the president’s own Justice Department.

Videotaped testimony before the Senate Judiciary Committee blows apart the phony narrative New York Times reporter Michael Schmidt wove on Tuesday, which resulted in Mueller’s appointment. Schmidt’s only sources were anonymous. They claimed that on Feb. 14th, the day after National Security Adviser Michael Flynn resigned, Trump had asked Comey to end an investigation into Flynn’s connections to Russia.

Schmidt’s allegations that Trump attempted to obstruct justice hinged on the sources’ accounts of a memo authored the same day. Schmidt, a Democrat party lackey, admitted he hasn’t even seen the document—dated nearly three months before Comey’s testimony that totally contradicts it.

Comey’s statement to Hawaii Democratic Senator Mazie Hirono from May 3rd, which Center for Security Policy analyst Nick Short noted Wednesday, exposes the Democrats once again for their political gamesmanship.

Lying during sworn congressional testimony is committing perjury, a federal offense punishable by up to five years in prison."

Shutting them down is tyranny. Suing the s**t out of them, proving them to be liars and making them pay through the nose is the American way.

Most likely won't and can't happen.

I suspect the 'Comey notes' and 'Special Counsel' might bite the Dems harder than the Reps.

Seems like it's open and shut then. If anyone's head should be on the chopping block it should be Comey's. For lying to the American people. And lying to Congress in his sworn testimony under oath.
And also for dereliction of duties in shutting down a slam dunk conviction of Hillary for espionage. For Comey to say that no reasonable prosecutor could find intent in her actions is absurd. The American people know full well that her intent was to hide her official communications from public view - so she could enrich herself with her lucrative pay-for play schemes. And one more thing. Nowhere in the statute is there a requirement of 'intent.' The statute is what's known as a general intent law, meaning that your mental state in irrelevant. Like with assault, or driving under the influence. It's against the law irrespective of what you intended.
Comey's real objective is to smear Trump. Here's hoping that Comey comes out of this as the only one smeared.

Nothing has gone "right" for "lefty," SD, since "THE DONALD" (R), was "selected" to "MAKE AMERICA SAFE, PROSPEROUS AND GREAT AGAIN." It's been one backfire after the last for "lefty," and they are all going bonkers, unhinged and off-the-rails; and the "TRUMP TRAIN" (R), is getting bigger and stronger and faster with each new job created, each "lefty" dismissed from government office, each "exposure" of the radical Marx/Alinsky (D) agenda, each conservative nominated or "appointed," each r**t, "PIG" k*****g, and obnoxious, violent (D)emonstration, and each BHO, stifling business regulation (R)emoved. No ifs ands or buts. And the same media (D), that assured America, 24/7/365, of an absolute {82% to 12%} Hillary (D), "LANDSLIDE VICTORY" in the 2016 POTUS e******n, are now telling "US," 24/7/365, that President Trump (R), is in BIG trouble. Interesting. Hummmmmmm. What IS that "crushing" noise I keep hearing??? GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO PRESIDENT "45" DONALD J. {BORN AGAIN} TRUMP (R); JUST LIKE THE WEATHER!!! And the new FBI Director, Robert Mueller, may be the LAST thing "lefty" wants. It rather reminds me of the 2016 POTUS e******n "probe," that "lefty" shut-(D)own immediately after they realize the "lefty" e******n f***ds, everywhere!!! Wait 'til Mueller gets ahold of all the "C" {"wh**ever THAT means"} Hillary's "private" emails, going world-wide, that started this whole kerfuffle!!!

The constant subversion of the Trump government by the left-wing lunatics is causing instability in the US economy. Anyone negatively affected should be able to sue the DNC for damages.

I just read the entire Comey testimony of May 3 and agree. If anyones head should be on the chopping block it should be Comey's. Therefore the POTUS's firing of Comey was justified. The only issue that could possibly come to question would be his timing. As for the conviction of HRC for espionage? Having worked such investigations, I can tell U that it would not have been a "slam dunk". In fact I'm not certain that it could have been proven. There is a very high level of proof necessary to accomplish this. However, it was a "slam dunk" to convict her of disclosure of highly classified information to uncleared and unauthorized persons. This in itself should have resulted in an indictment. Comey erroneously stated that his decision, (which was not his to make), was based on a lack of intent on HRC's part. Sorry, but "INTENT" is not a necessary bar that need be met for this crime and it is a crime, a felony. This one act alone would have made her ineligible to continue on as a candidate for the POTUS. This is all available in military regulation, DOS regulation and Federal Law. In other word beside his overstepping his bounds by making the public statement he did, he blew it with the decision he presented based on the reasoning he made available. He presented the perfect case for her guilt and then declared her innocents by calling into question an element of proof that wasn't necessary for the crime. They contradicted each other if U understand the law and guiding regulations behind requirements to protect classified information.

There are a lot of reasons for comey to fear being in trouble #1 he over reached his position to let Clinton off the hook and lynch allowed him to do it. There were no charges . She was never in court and a judge did not pass a sentence or allow the charges to be dropped. It was simply an investigation only Lynch could have brought forward legal charges. Instead she sat back let Comey put a noose around his neck and jump off a cliff. They both did it this way for a reason. Both need to be investigated because nether should have been involved in the case being built both have prior involvement with clintons in one way or another

You forget that he's a lawyer. The FBI was not pressured, Comey was - in private. He didn't lie. Had he said "I was not pressured", THAT would have been a lie. You see? There was no OFFICIAL effort by the WH, which was why Trump sent Sessions and the others from the room - no witnesses.

Over-reach seems to be a common ailment of damned near all our federal agencies.. FDA, EPA, IRS, and ----

As for Comey, I think he is more and more resembling either a bloated whale carcass or a giant puffer fish..' all filled up wit hisself', as the cognoscenti like to put it.

You're already starting to twist and engage in mental gymnastics worthy of an Olympian gymnast. Except that reasonable people already see what's happening. No amount of spin, or mental gyrations will convince right-thinking American people that Trump did anything wrong.
This entire fiasco is about keeping Democrats in the spotlight after having been handed the worst defeat in American history by a political neophyte. It's unthinkable that their candidate was bested by an outsider.
