Ole was hit by a big truck while driving his pickup
In court the trucking company's lawyer was questioninh Ola.
"Now sir,did you or did you not say at the scene of the accident,that you were fine"?queried the lawyer.
Ole responded"vell,I'll tell you vot hoppened.I had yust loaded my mule "Bessie"into da truck---
"I didn't ask you to tell a story"said the lawyer"Just answer the question.Did you or did you not,say you were okay at the scene?"
Ole said"Vell I had yust loaded "Bessie"into da trailer and was driving down da hiway---
Again the lawyer interrupted Ole.Judge,I am trying to establish the fact that at the scene of the accident,this man told the investigating officer that he was fine.Now he is suing my client for injuries .
I believe he is a fraud,please inform him to answer a direct question".
but the judge wanted to hear Ole's story,and said so."Let's hear what ole has to say."
Ole thanked the judge and continued"Vell as I vas saying,I hd yust loaded "bessie into da truck and vas driving down da hiway,ven dis big truck ran a stop sign and smacked my truck.
I vas thrown into vun ditch und "Bessie"vas thrown into da other ditch.I vas hurting real bad,and I could hear "Bessie" moaning and groaning.I knew she vas in terrible pain.Den de officer went over to her,pulled out his gun and got poor "bessie" out of her misery.den da officer comes over to me ,his gun still in his hand,and says"how are you feeling?"
"I said "I'm fine,vat vould you say???
