Oklahoma legislators have turned to nullification pursuant under the Ninth and Tenth Amendments of the United States Constitution in an attempt to fight back against the EPA’s unconstitutional rule making.

State Sen. Patrick Anderson recently submitted SB1167 to the Oklahoma Legislature. This bill will render void all rules imposed by the EPA and not passed by Congress. It is absolute nullification of that agency’s rulemaking in the state of Oklahoma.

From the bill:

“The Legislature declares that the rule-making authority of the Environmental Protection Agency is not authorized by the Constitution of the United States and violates its true meaning and intent as given by the founders and ratifiers, and is hereby declared to be invalid in the State of Oklahoma, shall not be recognized by this state, is specifically rejected by this state, and shall be considered null and void and of no effect in this state.”

The legislation also takes it a step further by empowering the state lawmakers to actively block enforcement of such regulations.

Now if only all the states would follow suit.

EPA has way too much power and with Obama using them as a beating stick it just give them more power in things that are not Constitutional.

Not really. We may be calling for his impeachment, but most also know that he must be put on trial and convicted to remove him from office. I am not stupid and most assuredly not a government troll. I know exactly what must be done and how to go about it and I am in no way trying to divert anything. What I and others are trying to do is to get people to work together and get something done. Just like the State of Oklahoma, nothing will ever get done if you stand alone. At least the people of Oklahoma are banding together to get something done.

Now all we need is 49 other states to join them and we can really have something to back this up with. One state, just like one person standing alone will not have the effect like 50 states, or everyone standing together would have.

I don't see how you can state anything as a fact that you know, when in fact, you know nothing about who we are or what we are attempting to do. You sound like a troll yourself when you are talking like this. If you want to help, then join in, but if not, then get out of the way. Get your FACTS right and get together with the people that are sincerely trying to do something, or you may get run over by the buss.

I wish that it were that easy to nullify the unconstitutional laws that are forced on this country. Unfortunately, it is not going to be that easy. The federal government unfortunately has a huge amount of power and are not about to let a state, or several states, undermine that power. If this new law by Oklahoma in fact passes and if in fact the state police our local authorities tried to stop enforcement of a federal law, then martial law will be declared and that will be the start of the downfall of this country. This is the kind of thing that Obama wants to happen. It would give him the excuse to use martial law as a reason to delay 2016 e******ns. If you do not think that he is willing to stoop to that level, then you are foolish.

As I said earlier, I wish that it was that simple, but it is not. Impeachment is a pipe dream and will never happen. No president in history of the United States has been impeached and removed from office. Richard Nixon was impeached but resigned. Bill Clinton was impeached but remained in office.

The only way to rid ourselves of Obama and his ilk is to v**e them out. The only way to square this country away and get back to a true representative government is to start at the local level and elect people who represent what you believe and are willing to fight for it.

I really wish all states would follow this lead. The states could effectively shut down most of the US government, all of the things the feds are not authorized by the US Constitution to do. None of us should be ordered about, insulted, mistreated by hired hands who are not our representatives. That is NONE of us!!!

Even if the House and Senate both become republican controlled will they have the guts? Even it they do it will take too the end of his term to get it done.

I as going to merely respond o your conclusion, but after reading your entire comment, decided all of it needs attention.

You state: "The federal government unfortunately has a huge amount of power and are not about to let a state, or several states, undermine that power."
Fact: The only reason we have a federal government is by virtue of the states allowing it. The states formed it, the states can disassemble it.

You state: "This is the kind of thing that Obama wants to happen. It would give him the excuse to use martial law as a reason to delay 2016 e******ns. If you do not think that he is willing to stoop to that level, then you are foolish."
Fact: If you think Obama thinks he needs an excuse to use martial law, do you really believe he will rely on one of us to supply it. He will make the excuse from whole cloth like he does everything else.

You state: "martial law will be declared and that will be the start of the downfall of this country. "
Fact: That will not start the downfall. The downfall was begun when Joseph McCarthy was removed from fighting the US c*******ts. The martial law that we can suppose Obama will dictate will be the icing on the completion of the downfall.

You state: "Richard Nixon was impeached "
Fact: Not true. He resigned to PREVENT impeachment. Obama doesn't have enough class to do that.

You state: "The only way to rid ourselves of Obama and his ilk is to v**e them out. "
Fact: If that is true, then we can say farewell to our nation because it is toast. Do you really think Obama will leave if v**ed out? Do you really think the b****t boxes won't be crammed to overflowing with v**es for him? Remember Sadam Hussein who won 100% of the v**es? Think Barry can't do as well? LOL.

It isn't true, of course, that the only way to rid ourselves of this Administration is to v**e them out. It IS true that Americans don't have the guts our ancestors had. It IS true that we will sit around waiting for it to happen, just as the Jews in Germany did. But if Barry doesn't want to be v**ed out, he won't be v**ed out.

You still have to contend with states like Illinois which will follow right down the hill to its own demise and never miss a beat.

I do NOT regret to inform you: you're not nearly as knowledgable as you suppose!
Obastard's FULL PARDON papers are already printed with Biden's signature effective instantly with the addition of a rubber-stamp date!
'Impeachment' is an infinitely jackass scenario!

Seems to me there was a time when Arkansas refused to follow federal law, too, would allow Black students into school, and federal troops had to be sent in. Wonder what is going to happen here if these legislators try to enforce their ruling against the federal government.

Since Illinois apparently has no thinkers, it would be strange if they actually went along with good legislation. The world would think the pols there had had massive strokes.
