Yes, I do agree with Trump on this topic, It seems to me the least we should is place a temporary ban on young, single, male and Muslims from entering the country with an extremely compelling reasons. The Democratic Party much more so than the Republican Party, puts party interests about the interests of the American public on a regular basis. The separation of powers built into the Constitution was meant to handle rouge presidents and has worked well for 233 years. The combination of President Obama, the Democratic minorities in Congress, and a compliant media are more interested in promoting agendas benefiting various factions, than in protecting this country. The Democrats in Congress are especially vile by not protecting Congressional Power and failing to provide adequate oversight of the Obama administration.

The Democrats, if they are allowed to obtain enough power, will repeal the 1st and 2nd Amendments. Why don't more Americans realize how dangerously close we are to a fundamental breakdown in constitutional government. The leftist agenda includes a push for freedom from speech by defining whatever makes someone uncomfortable as hate speech, therefore, not worthy of constitutional protect. This viewpoint is widespread on college campuses, social media sites, and main street media. The Democrats are using guns and legal gun owners as scapegoats for their failure to solve the root-cause for Americans feeling the need to defend themselves. The more power the Democratic Party obtains the more likely we will find ourselves and our country in a real fight.

Huge Yawn....if we were talking about Trump dodging the draft during peace-time or WWII, you might have a point. But, we're talking about the Vietnam War era and all of the controversies surrounding that ill-fated war. Besides, this story has been done, over and over again with other candidates of a particular age. There is no need to discuss that non-issue.

On a similar note. A Commander in Chief with military experience is important and I am looking forward to watching several very fine veterans of the Gulf War, the Iraqi War and the War on Terrorism, mature and grow into national leaders.

I trust Donald Trump over Hillary Clinton and I implore those who voted for McCain and Romney, in 2008 and 2012, respectively, and who supported any of the other Republicans during this year's primary, to vote for Trump too.

The $400 million came an Iranian account that was frozen, along with a lot of other assets, including money, when Iran stormed our embassy in Tehran and held our diplomats hostage for 440 odd days. I don't see the point of bringing Congress into this discussion. Or, am I missing something?

The bigger issue is we have a president who is going around and doing whatever he wants to do regardless of the law, common sense and decency. He, and everyone associated with his illegal administration, including, especially, Hillary Clinton, should be arrested, or somehow or another, arrested in order to prevent future crimes, mistakes, and oversights.

Compelling...unfortunately, it's the executive branch who's tasked with enforcing laws, including the one cited above, and President Obama has proven to be uncooperative, to say the least, in enforcing laws he does not agree with, or, are not in his best interest. No prosecution, thus no conviction. The only way Hillary will be held accountable for her crimes is through regime change. I wonder if a Trump administration would bring charges against Hillary.

Unfortunately, we cannot count on the MSM to provide context as to why so many Americans cannot vote for Hillary Clinton. Many believe the email scandal is a one-off, but, it is simply a continuation of the same old same old. Past behavior is a great indicator of future behavior. Those who continue to give her the benefit of the doubt should reconsider their opinion. Hillary will bring nothing but pain and misery if she is elected President. She did so much damage while First Lady and Secretary of State, just imagine how horrible 4-8 years of Hillary Clinton as President. That thought makes me feel even sicker.

Agreed, Obama was/is a fiasco and should not have been elected dog-catcher, let alone, President of the USA. Since there's nothing we can do to change what has already happened, we must re-double our efforts to learn from our mistakes and make the right decisions going forward. The first step in this process is defeating Clinton/Kaine in November, keeping GOP control of Congress and increasing majority control of state and local governments. The only plausible path to accomplish these objectives, which should be the goals of all clear-thinking Americans, is to support and vote FOR the GOP ticket of Trump/Pence. Those who advocate for staying home on election day, voting for a third-party candidate, or, aghast, actually voting for Clinton, are delusional, in my opinion.

Obama's successful elections were the result of several issues, when taken together, formed the perfect storm of politics in modern American history. Those primary issues include: The Iraq War, the 2007-08 financial crisis, and the historic nature of the Obama candidacy, each played important roles in electing a black community organizer with nearly zero experience, to the highest office in the land. Two other issues were important, such as: a compliant press and Obama's incredible oratory skills. In hindsight, the Iraq War should not have been fought, failed in execution, and cost many more American lives than was promised for a cause that proved to be inaccurate. The financial crisis played directly into the hands of Democratic/Progressive anti-capitalists and came at the worst time. Those items, together the press over looking so many red flags that clearly showed how extreme Obama's political philosophy actually is, each caused the election of Obama.

After McCain and Romney, both referred to as RINO's, lost their respective races to Obama, many conservatives, in my opinion, became obsessed with the delusion that if only the GOP would nominate a "real conservative" the White House could be won by the GOP. There is no evidence to support that viewpoint. Actually, there is an abundance of evidence to support the idea that if the GOP would concentrate on defense, economic growth, and entitlement reform, they would become the majority party. Step away from advocating to outlaw abortion, same-sex marriage, and shutting down the government.

Cruz is an opportunist, nothing more, nothing less. Does his conservative credentials include making promises about overturning Roe v Wade, reducing the size of the federal government, and prohibiting same-sex marriage? I bring these three issues to the table because this is where Cruz is all talk and no action. Let's start with abortion, which I find disgusting, abhorrent, immoral, and should be illegal. But, it is not illegal. Ronald Reagan had four years in the White House and he was not able to outlaw, or even limit, abortion on demand. Not because he didn't want to, but, because the American people are reluctant to place the federal government between a woman and her body. Cruz cannot keep his promise on abortion.

Another conservative agenda item is small government. Cruz advocates for shutting down the federal government and defaulting on federal debt. That's not conservative, that's lunacy, particularly when the executive branch is held by a big-government democrat. The lunacy of this tactic was proven during the Clinton years and again during Obama's two terms. When Congress fails to fund the government, the executive branch, shuts down the popular, but, non-essential government functions, and threatens senior citizens, the military, and other vocal and powerful constituents, with injury, all in an effort to inflict the greatest amount of pain on the citizens.

How you can conjure up how Ronald Reagan viewed same-sex marriage is beyond my comprehension. You, like many others, are conflating biblical beliefs against homosexuality with conservative ideals. Yes, you can be both a small government conservative, and be open minded to allowing two people to share their lives together freely and openly.

The bigger issue is who, between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump, is more likely to protect the embattled 1st and 2nd Amendments? Trump earned the NRA's endorsement and he is well known in exercising his right to say whatever is on his mind. Placing IDEOLOGY over COUNTRY is neither CONSERVATIVE nor PATRIOTIC.
