The day after his wife disappeared in a kayaking accident, a Bar Harbor man answered his door to find two grim-faced Maine State Troopers.

"We're sorry Mr. Wilkins, but we have some information about your wife", said one of the troopers.

"Tell me! Did you find her?" Wilkins exclaimed.

The troopers looked at each other. One said, "We have some bad news, some good news, and some really great news. Which would you like to hear first?"

Fearing the worst, Wilkins said, "Give me the bad news first."

The trooper said, "I'm sorry to tell you, Sir, but this morning we found your wife's body in the bay."

"Oh my God!" exclaimed Wilkins. Swallowing hard, he asked, "What's the good news?"

The trooper continued, "When we pulled her up, she had 12 of the best looking Maine lobsters that you have ever seen and 60 good-sized rockfish clinging to her. Haven't seen lobsters like that since the '60s and we feel you are entitled to a share in the catch."

Stunned, Wilkins demanded, "If that's the good news, then what's the great news?"

The trooper replied, "We're gonna pull her up again tomorrow."

I'm wondering why neither the Mainstream Media nor anyone else seems to have asked these questions over the past week or two:

Having broken his leg while bicycling, will John Kerry be nominating himself for a Purple Heart, as he did in Vietnam? If he's awarded a Purple Heart, will he then throw it over the fence in front of the Capitol, as he claimed to have done with his medals and ribbons in 1971?

How many women and girls did Joe Biden "nuzzle' (in that "Creepy Ol' Uncle Joe" manner of his) at his son's funeral? (I know that question is in bad taste, but so is Joe Biden's behavior.)

Has Barack Obama finally decided that his lies no longer have to even pretend to be believable? Is he now trying to outdo even himself for baldfaced, brazen falsehoods? He's "the closest thing to a Jew who's ever been president"?; America is "more respected now than ever before"?; Sheesh, is he goofing on us, or is he sniffing glue? And then he tells the truth when he informs us that he really doesn't have a strategy for dealing with ISIS!

Does anyone really, truly believe that wanting to become a member of the opposite sex is not indicative of deep, deep mental and emotional sickness? Does anyone truly believe that to "come out" to the world as a drag queen is an act of "courage"?

Regarding the escape of two convicts from NY's Dannemora prison, the unasked question is: Just how in the world do you keister a Sawzall?

Yup. Michael Savage has been saying that ONE A-10 Warthog could've turned that "parade" into "the highway of death".

Various mainstream press and network news sources are reporting that Pamela Geller and her American Freedom Defense Initiative (AFDI) have "steadfastly refused to apologize" for staging the "Draw Muhammad" art exhibit and contest. That event was attacked by two heavily-armed, body-armored domestic jihadis bent on murder and mayhem (fortunately they were blown away by a Garland, Texas traffic cop before they could do any more damage than slightly wounding an unarmed security guard).

In other news, CVS has steadfastly refused to apologize for their looted and burned-out store in Baltimore.
