Straw buyers are not as easy to enforce as one may think. Also would you say I am a 3rd party, or in violation of said law if I buy a firearm for my kids birthday? Lets say my kid can legally own it, how did I violate any laws? You see that law may look good on paper, yet it does violate my right to give my kid something he wants, even if we are both legal to own it. The only way enforcement of that law wouldn't be a violation of my constitutional rights, is if you can show that I made the exchange with full knowledge and intent of handing it over to a felon, or other party that can't legally own one. That would not be so easy to show in any court.

A phases I am sure we have seen, and may have used at times. Yet when a person uses it, it seems that truth is not what they intend to speak. Both side seem to give only their part of the truth, and omit any part they wish to hid, that isn't truth. Truth is when all points are covered, and all points of view are taken into consideration.
Lets take all the talk on gun control that I am sure may have been on here in that week or so after ElPaso, and Ohio. Without reading any of them I bet I can anil it all down in short order.
Anti-2 A, to do nothing about all the guns is placing everyone in danger. We need to get all guns out of the hands of everyone. If there were no guns, that would never happen. I didn't cover them all I am sure, yet their main talking points are tied to what I posted in some way.
Por-2A. Gons save lives. A good guy with a gun can stop a bad guy with a gun, and so on.
So I ask the anti-2A folks, when was the last time you honestly looked at what strict gun laws leads to? Have you ever be honest enough to bring up places like Chicago in your talking points? Didn't think so. So lets take a look at that one city and see what we find.
1- The escalating murder rate in Chicago has given rise to a new claim – that Chicago gun laws are lax, weak, and ineffective. When the truth is, Illinois has some of the toughest gun laws in the nation. Yet with that said, Aug 05, 2018 · Chicago police records show 44 people were shot on Sunday, including five who were killed. In three hours beginning at 1:30 a.m., records show, 30 were shot and two killed in 10 incidents. Jun 04, 2019 · Chicago police say more than 50 people were shot, eight of them fatally, in gun violence over the weekend. Two people were stabbed to death, bringing the total number of homicides to 10. So why are you not crying about this?
Now I ask the pro-2A, How many of the above could a good guy with a gun stop? Or can it be that the good guy would be numbered among the dead?
So the truth, (at lest as I see it) is simple. Guns loke drugs, would simply end up as a black market item. Much less red tape, and only the bad guy would have them. They would free to invade any home they wished with no fear of resistances. Crime would go up, not down. So are guns a deterrent to mass shootings? To answer that lets look at stats.
According to the Crime Prevention Research Center, from the 1950's through June 15th of 2018, 97.8 percent of mass shootings have occurred on gun-free zones, with just 2.2 percent occurring where citizens are allowed to have firearms with them.
Need we go further? I am so looking forward to having one side say I am wrong, even though they will fail to look up the stats on their own. Just as I am looking forward to pro-2A bringing out things I am sure I have over looked. So lets have a nice discussion with out name calling, or trying to belittle others. I hope everyone knows how to do that. Name calling and belittleing only shows a lack of understanding, as well as a lack of character.

Good report. I say that as I have my-self looked this info up. If one looks at the church today, they will find that, (in the USA at lest), many are turning away from denominational teachings. Seeking in the pages of the Word it's truth. I give you that the number of believers has drop in the last 10-15 years. I am seeking to find a collection as to why this is, yet it seems to be many things working together.
Be nice to find a sight that is built on this study. If for no other reason that to see if what I have found fits with their findings.

Though it has been a year and a 1/2 or so, I found myself looking back at some threads I followed. I found this, and seen I didn't reply to it in a proper manner, so it is.

When you use any part of the Constitution it is always wise to understand it's true meaning. The separation of church state, (or at lest the idea) comes from the first amendment it reads as follows.
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.
A fast read of this doesn't show any sign of removing religion from government, rather it does remove the right of the government to restrict, deny, or mandate any one religion. Nor do they have the power to remove religion, or any part there of that they disagree with.
I can go on to explain the whole thing if you like, though it is clear that you will seek some way around the truth of the facts. Just as you used a quote from Reagan taking into account the words and his meaning nor intent.
Funny how I left in hopes that some people grow up. Only to re-tune and find that many still live a fantasy world, were the rules only apply to Liberals. That is to say, they make them up as they go along, and even when they are flat out wrong, they are right.
Lies and deceit are their way of life.

But Trump is trying to get rid of everyone! This shutdown will have reprecations for mounths or years. Just think of the TSA employees, who are not paid much. The will or have quit. They will find it hard to replace them. Who wants to work when getting paid is iffy. Remember a year or so ago when there was a shortage of TSA agents and flyng became a mess. We will have a shortage probably untill summer if this crazy shit gets fixed soon, longer if this goes on.

I can see what you are saying. however with the price air fair, do you really think the airline shouldn't pay for security? Had they been doing so all along, what you name wouldn't be seen. I see TSA, and all their problems as non-essential, and government wast.
Once more please try to see this as a chance to see cut's no one ever looks at. How? They have all been highlighted for us. Look at it this way. Lets say that we run a business, and we are fighting to make it. We look around and find that if we get ride of the plumber. That work can be done in-house. Do we sink the ship to save the plumber, or work to save the other more essential people?

I mean no disrespect to anyone. I understand the hardship of anyone that isn't being paid, or have been put out of work. However, if we stop and look at the phrase, non-essential, or government wast, it can be said the 2 go hand in hand. If you run a business, the last thing you want is non-essential personal. I can get a long list on this, however lets keep it simple.
As we THE PEOPLE (at lest the working class) strain under the cost of government debt, we should look at what is truly musing from our government right now. What part of it's many non-essential parts do you miss? What part has an adverse effect in your life?
Having been on the side of smaller government all my life, I see this as a chance to enact real, meaningful, and long lasting change in our government and how it works. I seen it, and hopelessly watched as this same thing came to pass, what 2-3 times under Obummer. Knowing it would be wasted. Now under Trump, all we can do wait and see. However my hopes are not high, as there is still the Dem. house to deal with.

Sorry I have not answered any post on here as of late. I have spent that time pondering weather to even bother. In that time I have found that my time is better spent in other endeavors. So once more I will be leaving this sight. If I do return to it, it will a year or longer. I hope that will give folks time to grow up.
Though I can't see it my self. Libtareds are so stuck sucking the dicks of their leaders, that to take a breath would be seen as not doing their jobs.

Mostly because the church does nothing. The idea of a law being passed the forbids it, is and always will be unconstitutional.
Before you ask, Yes I did file suit on that grounds. That is why in some schools, pray is and will remain excepted.

Sad when one uses any part of the Constitution so wrongly. The 1st Amendment does not remove religion from government. It simply prohibits government from passing any laws that may restrict religious freedom.

thanks for the great post and link. To me the thing that illustrates best who and what our brave police officers are was the video on the Texas sniper shooting cops at the BLM thing last year. Gunshots rang out, BLM attendees ran away from it screaming as the police ran TOWARDS the gunfire. So many nowadays are whining about law enforcement but they damn well want their help if they're being mugged or burglarized. And honestly the way police officers are treated for literally RISKING THEIR LIVES every single day they walk out the door to go to work - we should be bowing down and kissing their assets. :-) And if they do some profiling well guess what it helps keep them alive. And if people were honest with themselves we ALL do profiling. And I don't mean RACIAL profiling. I mean the "oh this guy/gal looks like a junkie, a punk, acting shady, looks REALLY PISSED". Except for us regular Joes those things are a signal to AVOID those people. Cops have to check it out because THAT IS THEIR JOB!! Okay now I'm ranting sorry...

Rant away my friend. I am so hoping to have others tell it like it is. Not in a hate filled manner, rather in a way that may grab others by the ear, and get them to slow down just a bit. Make them think of the wrong they are doing not just to others, rather to thems selves, and any that voice ideas that can be seen in the same light. In other words, if a person tells you they are christain, then goes into an abortion clinic and kills 10 people, they hurt every person that goes to church. Yet all they thought about was them self, and hate took them over. Their familys, friends, fellow church goers suffer more than they did/do. This goes well beyond any signal group. This gets into almost ever town in the USA.
I live in a town of around 10,000, yet even here, talk of race wars, and just plain meanness can be heard if one just slows down. Anger, fear, and stress are becoming the norm, and many simply need to vent.
I remeber that story you take of all to well. I can tell you just how mad I got, and how sick it made me. It was not long after that, a cop shoot and killed a man just 2 miles from my house. I went to the PD and offered any help they needed. I also let it be known that there are more like me out here, that understand the hard ship that officer faced. No mater that man does, he will never forget the face of the man whos life he took. Then to find that a News Paper printed in their story on it, that Face bok said the man had a toy gun, and did so in a manner that was intended to make it sound like fact. They got an ear full from me, not in a letter, face to face.
