Fracking, lateral drilling, double-hulled tankers, modern refining and engine technology make extraction and gasoline production safe and non-polluting. Gasoline, with taxes should cost $2.50/gal. max.

So now, Cali.'s permanent Democrat supermajority is crushing the citizens with restrictions, mandates and taxes, all of which are gaslighted with their virtue-signalling environmental talking points fed by U.N.-type globalist agencies.

The tax-monies are diverted to the general fund rather than highways. Seems funding illegal immigrants is more important than easing the burdens on citizens.
